Works fine on my Mini.
The only problem I have is to reconect the Wlan at home.
It needs a verylong time, almost 10min to reconnect. I see the grey Wlan symbol on the right upper corner and I have to wait until it will be blue. I tried to switch of the Wlan or the complete Tabled, but no succes.
Has anyone the same problem?
He flashed the firmware on a different tablet (probably identical to this one) and therefore some issue can appear.
I'm using this image with pretty good success on my Mini One. I found a couple problems, not sure if it's the firmware or something I did, but:
The battery stats don't work (battery usage data isn't available)
When pressing the app switcher button (bottom right), and choose a previously run app, sometimes that app doesn't pop up. The app you were currently using just comes back.
Scrolling by swiping a web page, or the Play Store, doesn't work too well. It's very laggy.
The Google search bar is annoying, but easy to remove.
I would like a way to modify the boot screen to remove the chinese. Other than that, the software works way better than the stock 4.1 that came with it.
I had good success using this firmware, but need help getting more access to the google play store, and I also have a problem with google maps.
I logged onto the play store using the stock rom, and then with two installations of this firmware. I have an app that according to google play can be installed on the stock rom, but not after installing this one.
After further use, I've found the same problem with Google Maps. I also have the rebooting issue, especially right after the tablet first boots. It will freeze for 10 seconds after I click on an app, which doesn't start, then the screen goes black and it shuts down and restarts.
I haven't found any info as how to fix these issues as well as the issues I mentioned before with app switching and battery usage information not available.
If a new ROM comes out, will I have to reinstall all my apps?
Upgrading to a new firmware will erase your data. You can easily make a backup with Titanium Backup available for free on Google Play Store.
