Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have a Yuandao Vido Mini One tablet to test the custom firmware.

Sorry about that, the file is available on the main download (first link) but hasn't yet been replicated to the 2 mirrors... should happen in the next hour or so.
Cheers.

thanks for this. I'm new to Chinese tablets.
Quite pleased with what you get for the price, but couldn't stand the Chinese bloatware so using this ROM.. It's great!!
What's the purpose of splitting the internal memory into flash to 4gb? Wasn't it previous 8gb? With 1gb ram?
A few issues with this tablet though.. My battery reading is very erratic. I've calibrated it and times it seems to drop evenly with usage... However, occasionally can be stuck a certain percentage for awhile... Then suddenly drop when I turn it off and on again... .
The overall battery life seems normal.. About 5 to 6 hours so I think it's just an indicator problem. I've noticed that the battery apps can't seem to accurately detect the battery voltage. It's either 4V or 3V only. Is this a ROM issue or device issue..
Thanks
On stock firmwares, the internal flash memory allocated to applications is usually 512MB or 1 GB, we extend it to 4 GB as it seem to be the size that fits most of the users. It doesn't change anything to the available RAM of your tablet.
Most Chinese tablets such as the M1 have some troubles to accurately read/report the battery level, it's possible that your model has this problem, but I wouldn't say for sure unless we get reports from other users having the same problem running same and different firmwares.
Cheers.

Thanks for the reply.
Is there any way to test out and fix the battery detection problem?
Whilst it is better than some older tabs, I still do find it quite laggy especially scrolling... Even with a decent quad core. I'm lead to believe this is an android problem. Wasn't jelly bean suppose to improve efficiency this?
My other tablet is an ipad which is incredibly smooth.. But is overpriced and lacks the freedom of android .

Hi,
I use a Vido Mini One tablet, the compilation no. is eng.wbj.20130718.195038 test-keys. In the menu settings there is no option for mobile networks. I need it to work with 3G dongle to access the internet. Do you have any idea how to enable this option? Do I need to install the newest firmware for the device? If yes - is there any manual how to do it step by step with this device? Many thanks for your help.

"Yes, I know I don't have the sim slot, that's why I will use an USB 3G dongle. But the problem is there is no mobile network selection possibility on the device settings. The VIDO informs that the product support 3G external dongle."
If u want to use USB 3G, u should install a support softwrae, called "PPP Widget". It worked for me
