What do you mean with "firmware update failed"?

Hi, OMA.

When I flashed the latest firmware, it started ok but half way it showed updated failed. (I didn't print screen it..)

I couldn't open the device & I press the power button for a while, it popup & it restored to factory reset mode.

Now I tried again but the batch tool cant recognize my device in both debug mode & storage mode.

I'm using Windows 8 Pro.

Sometimes the USB driver are not easy to handle, especially under win8. Pls make sure you use an USB2.0 port. Here is a tool: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1187. De-install driver first, then install.

If this fails, life would be easier if you find a win7 PC.
