How does your wifi work? With my xoro pad 9719 it okay, when i sit close to the router, but just one floor upstairs its impossible to surf, but a gold connection seems to be there.Â
Same problem on Vido N90FHDRK - if wifi signal is not strong enough then the connection frquently gets lost + have to turn on airplane mode every now and then. Number of signal bars is often different in WiFi settings and task bar at the bottom of the screen (e.g. 2 bars above and 4 bars at the bottom of display).
SD card gets unmounted on its own. Have to eject it and put back in to keep it working.
Otherwise the stuff looks good!
@GrandCru, Have you tried WIFI and SD Card on other ROM's like Visture?
This what you write looks like hardware damage.
On my Shiru Emperor (Cube U9GT5) this ROM works flawlesly. No WIFI errors, no SD Card unmounts.
Waiting for KITKAT 4.4.2

Hi!
I am now to flashing tablet (even if i am familiar with android and flashing... flashed my G1/S1/S3 about every week-month.)
I have a Xoro 9720 with original Rom.
I downloaded the lined rom, extracted the image.zip and copied it to the sdcard folder.
It was found atomatically, checked and then the pad rebooted to install it. Â - so far so good...
another reboot, now it only boots in some kind of recovery with an android lying on it's back with a red ! sign on it saying -kein Befehl - (no command)
after a while the tablet turns of.
what can I do now?

Hi,
it seems you have not been following the approach mentioned in the 1st post: 'Flash with Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.7, use Restore button.'
Hopefully you can still install the FW using this tool.
You also could try to enter Recovery Mode (by pressing Vol+ and PWR at the same time), and see if you can re-install any FW from there.
Rgds

i finally managed to reinstall the original firmware via the update.img file from Xoro
I once again tried to install Kasty via Rockchip tool. using switch button.
switch done success (1), but the tablet is not found from windwosÂ
the drivers seem not to work.. Â I am using Win7 x64 and installed the drivers W7 x64...
The device manager says:Â
Class of rockusb devices: unknown device
the rockchip tool dont not find the device in this state...
when i try to install the rk31 driver manually it says:
wrong platform...
any ideas?

I am also using W7 64b with no problems.
But I am also aware that a lot users face problems installing the drivers. There is a lot of discussions in various forums on how to install. E.g. http://www.android-hilfe.de/window-yuandao-allgemein-forum/400705-97rq-n90fhd-rk3188.html
Viel Glueck!
cholera,
The easy driver installation may also help:
