ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery easy install for RK3066 and RK3188 -- TWRP/CWM Flash-Tool and root for RK3288
Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !

I have built an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean custom firmware for the UG802 Mini PC.
This firmware is based on the MK808 system with MK802 III boot and kernel.Â
Download: kasty-ug802-41-011.zip
Kernel:Â Linux version 3.0.8+ (ant@test-desktop) (gcc version 4.4.3 (GCC) ) #33 SMP PREEMPT Wed Oct 31 14:01:34 CST 2012
Android 4.1 build:Â rk30sdk-eng 4.1.1 JRO03H eng.lfwang.20121026.092031 test-keys
The update.img is made to be flashed using Rockchip Batch Tool, don't install it by directly copying the update.img file on your MiniPC, it would brick it !
I am still working on improving this firmware, but it works already quite well. Users feedback is welcome, as usual.
Thanks to deadhp1, 2dark4u and finless for their tips that helped making this firmwareÂ

I'm half done having a working firmware update thru the sdcard.
Flashing update.img from the sdcard now works, but the system files do not fit in the default system partition layout.
I'll upload the proper update if I get this feature fully working, in the meantime, flashing using Rockchip Batch Tool is necessary.

system did an auto reboot so far so good, its up and running!
Can you add the "reboot" tool from the finless rom?
Is it posible to use an USB Wifi adapter to boost the wifi reception?
can you work on wifi reception?
On mine it looks like wifi is dead, just no reception whatsoever
Poor Wifi reception is common on those MiniPCs, even some simple hardware modifications like changing the antenna won't do much. Probably the best thing is to add an external WIFI dongle, we are working on a tutorial on that subject.
In your case, it may be a kernel/system issue when using a kernel from a different model that is not supported on your device, some specific drivers (like WIFI) won't work.
Flashing back a working firmware should get you fixed.Â
Cheers.

Hello,
The file has been removed because this firmware is a bit old and has been replaced by a newer version.
The link has been updated in post #1, download should work fine now.
Cheers.
