I put the files here: http://www.filedropper.com/flexeliteimagesnotes Let me know if you have any issues getting it.

I am running a test to try and determine if the power drain in standby is a hardware issue that has no chance getting fixed or it is a firmware issue. I have it at the bootloader and disconnected from the USB. This should not have the DDR configured, most likely a low CPU clock setting with one core running, the USB port on, most likely a serial port and the display powered down. I will post the results tomorrow.

This did not work out like I thought. I checked it after 4 hours and it was down to 67%.

Dump seems ok. The Android itself looks ok, too. I guess the issues are kernel driven.

A lot of "security mechansim" in the build. And an unified internal storage. Can I have a screenshot of settings/storage?

Ok, I can strip and repack that build. Anything of interest?

Insignia Flex Elite kernel #137, preempt 17 Jun 2015 is now in the archive: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2613

If anyone would like to play around with our AOSP build, just change kernel/resource before flash ...

Thanks! I will give it a try tomorrow. I just replace the kernel and resource images in the rockdev/image folder, right?

BTW: What do you use to view/analyze the kernel and resource images?

Ok, is there a mass_storage mode? Does the tab have keys?

I like that it has USB storage as well as up to 64GB SDcard support. I have USB drive on my Asus wireless router and ES file explorer is so good at file sharing. I won't miss it if the 5.1.1 ASOP doesn't have USB as long as it still supports the SDcard.

I meant the missing option "mass storage" here. Does it generate any issues?

I ran into a snag. It won't lower format the e-MMC. It just stays at 0%. It also reports "Device Test Start" and "Device Test Fail" If I try to flash a partition. I think the eMMC is write protected.

Maybe a driver issue. Restart flash modus (with key combination) and do again. Is there also a Reset?
