I got a MK809III mini pc based RK3188.And I want overclock it but I don't know if ¬†it is same as ¬†UG007b ÔľĆSo I ¬†attched ¬†the picture¬†of ¬†MK809III (Click the image to enlargeÔľČ.

I am not the first time flash the Android Device, but the first time flash the ROCKchip device.

In the topic "To achieve overclocking, we have built a special firmware using our custom Rikomagic MK802IV Android 4.2.2 firmware (2013/06/03) and sam321 720p 1920 MHz overclocked kernel."   Is it mean that I must first flash the frrmware and second flash the kernel use   the Rockchip Batch Tool? How to flash kernel? Is it same as flashing firmware?

Is  the overclock firmware above compatible for MK809III? MK809 III has two micro usb,one is for power ,another for usb otg .   and  has a host usb.

by the way Ican't download the 720p 1920 MHz overclocked kernel from

https://rapidshare.com/#!download|822p2|2093625605|extreme%20overclock.rar

Can someone ¬†upload this file on this forumÔľüÔľü

I think the MK809III has similar hardware to the UG007B and UG802B MiniPC.

I'll upload the custom firmware I used for overclocking and will post here.

Cheers.

I can't answer that right now as I don't have my MiniPC here with me and I can't find the specs for the wireless chip on the Internet Confused

I have just posted a full update.img firmware with an overclocked kernel.

It's designed for the UGoos UG007b and Rikomagic MK802IV first models equipped with Realtek 8189 WiFI and RDA5876a Bluetooth chips.

Great jobÔľĀBut I think it isn‚Äút compatiable for my MK809III because of the different wireless hardware.

MK809III is  Built-in AP6210 WiFi(2.4G)+Bluetooth 3.0 Module .

So if you can build such firmware with an overclocked kernel. It is  good for me.

Anyway ,tks a lot

Hello friend, I have such device as you. Tell me pls,  did you get a mod firmware for your device ?

of course .i found a good overclock firmware for my stick.

first ,you can dowmload it from this topic

http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php?6365-NEOMODE-CUSTOM-ROM-1-3-MK802IV-UG007B-CX-919-MK809III-with-AP6210

all modules work well.

Download the NEOMODE ROM 1.3 contained flash tool inside.

Unpack it and run RK Android Tool with your PC.Press the flash button then connect to the OTG port. then run it.

If you want to OC your stick. you should use rkandroidtool flash the OC kernel only.(but you must flash the NEOMODE ROM first).

Before flashing, how do a full backup of stock firmware ? If I want to install OC kernel, does it will work fine without radiator on CPU ?

yesÔľĆit rooted.

I have a stockrom for it. Also you can download the rom from internet.(I tested before.).

I think you must need  radiator on CPU if you want to OC it.(But I also tested for servial minutes it worked with a OC kernel without radiator.)

 download rom URL:
