I don't know if it's not there it probably hasn't been saved, I'm afraid you'll have to post again.

I have the Imito QX1 mini PC and the thread author stated "Please report any problem with this firmware, I verified this firmware boots on the Tronsmart T428, but I don't have an iMito QX1 to fully test the custom firmware." My 1st question is does this 4.2.2 720p rom work on the iMito QX1? Can this 4.2.2 720p rom version be updated from the micro sd memory card in the iMito QX1? I do not have access to a windows computer for doing the update through widows. I purchased the iMito QX1 so I did not have to use a Windows computer. What would it take to be able to install this rom from a Micro SD card? Didn't Geekbuying.com use to have the Official roms that could be installed from a micro SD card? Does this 4.2.2 720p rom able to use powered USB Hub? The 4.1.1 rom that came installed in my iMito QX1 stick does not handle powered USB Hub. I wish I would have purchased the CX-919 mini PC. At least that device works good and finless at freaktap.com is developing a new rom version for the iMito QX1. Thank you for the information.

The update from sdcard can be applied only if the partition layout is not changed, but this firmware has an increased data partition, and it is a risk of resulting a boot loop.
The firmware can be flashed also via Linux, but there are many commands to push towards the device.

When I connect my QX1 to my USB-port (Windows 7 x64), load the update.img into the Rockchip Batch Tool, and press restore it gives an error (see attachment)

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance,

Try to press Switch button and see if the square turn Green, then you can press Restore button.

Cheers.

Thanks for your quick response!

I tried to press Switch which seemed to be successful, however, the square did not become green. The only thing it did was disconnecting the device (at least I heard that sound)

Are there any other options? Thanks!

If you never flash firmware using Rockchip Batch Tool before, you'll need to install drivers that ship with the tool. Windows probably asked from them after you pressed the Switch button, check in your Windows notification try for driver installation.

We also have a small troubleshooting guide here:

The main question is if he has got the tablet in flashing mode
The pink square appears usually when the tablet is booted normally, therefore, make sure that you get the tablet in flashing mode (NO IMAGE ON THE SCREEN OF THE TABLET AND A POP-UP NOTIFICATION WINDOW ON THE PC REGARDING DRIVERS = FLASHING MODE)

Everything works like a charm now :D

There is only one issue, the internal storage for my apps is still 0.89GB instead of 2GB. Which firmware package I should flash, since there are two? Thanks a lot!
