Thanks again for your reference Oma.

Looking in Youtube I  have found this video for Teclast X98

I suppose  assambley  would be similar.

I would try to find time for solving my problem.

I got one of these tablets over Christmas and I noticed that the screen is very grainy/sparkly. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?  I've got no screen protector and I'm running on the v1.24 firmware.     Thanks

What you're noticing is a specific layer of anti glare that is built into the digitiser. So yeah. Its intentional. And I hate it as much as I'm sure you do too. Completely ruins whites displayed on the screen.

Found it only once before on a relatively low budget device... Its a pity they had to use it on the P90HD...

Any thing I can do to fix it? I've been trying to use dark wallpapers and theme but it just drives me crazy when reading a webpage or on YouTube. The big attraction of this tablet was the high res but the colours and distortion make it really unpleasant... *Le sigh*

Nope, nothing you can do (that I know of) without some very heavy hardware modding. Would probably involve taking off the digitiser and treating it chemically to remove the anti-glare film.

When I compare it to my other tablet and phone, it does succeed in causing less glare but it is not much and is definitely not worth the horrible whites that it gives on the screen.

So, yea... That's really that, but I do feel you, I felt the exact same when I received mine since I was super excited about a high resolution IPS panel (I'm also not 100% sure that the panel is IPS, colour vibrancy is not on par with my other devices from China that have IPS displays and whites are absolutely terrible since they're grainy and yellowish but these issues could be because of the anti-glare film), but alas...

Hi Oma,

Please could you help me?  I have a display problem which I think is a hardware fault so I must restore to Stock v1.24 firmware before I can send my P90HD back to the supplier.

Teclast's link is down.  Please could you upload Stock 1.24 or stock 1.26 flashing package for me?

Please please help me. Thank you.
