How to install ?

Hello,

This package contains a the necessary files to get adb working on a computer and a batch file that takes care of copying files on your tablet.

OMA should confirm, but I think it's quite simple: you need a Windows based computer and make sure ADB is running on your tablet. Unpack the archive and run the RUN Oma Patch.bat file. After execution it should pause at the end, please review that it shows no errors.

Cheers.

I have currently Installed the rom on a P9 with GSM modul.

Hmm, no dialer or phone function available. Did I need something more?

I used the

http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2151

kernel #192 from first post.

and

http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2092

P4 build from first post

I have changed the kernel & resource files in rockdev folder.

Thanks

Peter

Both are builds for wifi only. Use the Pipo P1 3G build.

Flashed :-)

but, it hangs on the systemmenuui. Think the statusbar :-(

Any hints?

And where I need to edit the dpi=240

or just add this line to build.prop ?

Thanks

Dear Oma,

First, please accept my compliment for your work.

I use different tablet for special application.

I customize firmware, so change boot logo and animation and remove unnecessary apps and add mine.

I try to use Pipo P9, and all customization work, but I can't find how to change boot logo (before boot animation).

I see that you never change it in your rom, but have you some information to help me ?

Best Regards,

So, interessting why you have choosen the P4 thread to ask questions ;-)

There is no boot logo ... what you see first is the kernel logo.

When I go to P9 page I'm redirect to P4...

So, I understand that first image is not part of boot, but part of kernel.

I try to explore kernel.img with hexa editor but without any information I'm confused. Have you some idea ?

It's in resource.img, use resource_tool to modify this, you can find this tool in one of the rk3288 sdk:s available.

logo.bmp should use bmp3 (Windows 3.x format), 256 colors, 892 x 324

Unpacking resource.img is pretty straightforward, to repack use something like this,

cd out

find . -type f|xargs resource_tool --image=../resource.img
