Hello Oma, I need your aiuto..sul my pipo p1 I tried to flash the 1.3 version of the kernel and replacing pipo p4 resource with those of p1
I opened the Android tool, press switch, power off tab and properly recognized, tap on lower format and then run
but the process has failed!
Now I can not start it, is not recognized by Android tool ("No device found"), I tried with vol + and power button but is not recognized

Don't do that. In resource.img is the database (dtb) of the 3.10.0 kernel. So mixing these things up will most likely end in a not booting kernel. Try Power and Vol - to do a reset.

Unbrick using another pc with Windows 7

Go into loader mode by press and hold power an vol up..and flash twice the rom..because the 1st one the tab not boot..

My pipo p1 it's brand new(1 day) but when i try to do Antutu benchmark on the cpu bench the tab shutdown itself..this behavior  continue on Asphalt 8 for example..after only one race tab shutdown... i can feel hot in the back cover near Camera. What i can do? Try another de?

Or it's simple hw fault and i can try to have a replace? Thx Oma

Then you had an issue with the usb driver. Here is a Driver Assistant. It supports also win8 but not win 8.1. Make sure the file is in c:. Unistall driver first (to make sure the tab is not connected to a rk31 driver) then install.

The fault is most likely a hardware problem. The SoC gets instable when touching 1.6 GHz. Chinese production quality. What was the firmware/kernel coming with the tab?

With cpu clocked at 1.4 ghz with trickstermod i can perform Antutu v5 and Antutu x with almost the same result 37K

Asphalt 8 run ok for many race without issue/shutdown.

I think that the fw coming on tablet out of box ke dated 260614...but i'm hot sure about that because flash your latest stock pipo p1 rom 19 august

Yeah, limit to 1.4 GHz is a known workaround without having any lack in day to day performance. But hard to understand for a SoC that is specified @ 1,8 GHz. It is up to you to make usage of your warranty or not.

Seem that the limit of my CPU go up to 1.5ghz...no freeze or shutdown like on the first day of useSurprised

After that a quick questions: why alla the cores of CPU are online at same time at all frequencies? IT is a normal behaviour of rk3288 ?

What about a future development of cm11 or omni for pipo p1?

THX for all your great work

One core is busy with the filesystem. Other cores depends.

First tests to compile Omni are ongoing.
