How would one go about backing up the stock firmware before flashing this? Without the ability to use a recovery with the current kernel is this something that I could do with the tools included in your zip?

You can ask LuckyMe for the dumps ... but I guess you won't have this creapy stock firmware back ;-)

No gapps support, crap launcher, unreadable system fonts, no soft volume keys for a tab without volume rockers, etc.

Can someone help me resolve this issue?  When I connect to the PC as a media player/for transferring files and data, I can only access external storage.  I used to be able to choose internal or external.

Also after clicking "turn on usb storage" it never stops searching, so there isn't a way to turn it off.  I have to just unplug the tablet.  Then the next time I plug in, the PC wants to scan my sd card.

It never stops searching.  Presumably for the driver (?)

So where do I find this missing driver?

thanks!

The build has an unified internal storage. So there is no internal sdcard (vfat partition) which you can mount.

Hi Oma,  thanks for responding.

What was changed in the build from the stock to make it not mount?  And what was the benefit?

Why could I mount both internal and external with the stock rom? And I could unmount the drive properly before unplugging from the PC. Something I can't do now.

Well, this is the dump of your stock rom. And this has an unified internal storage. So, no internal sdcard.

So how do I access the internal storage again? And how do I make it unmount properly again? Why did it work before?

This is your partition layout. No user partition (internal sdcard). Consequently it cannot be mounted.

Oma,  I'm not a developer.  Those partion things,  or whatever that is,   means nothing to me,  as I can't read it. Nor do I understand it.

You're saying my rom doesn't support it? If so,  what I'm asking you is why did it work before?

I do not have the tab, nor any experience with it. So, I can only analyse what you have provided. I did explain that simple and then technically. Sorry for be not more helpful.
