No plans for a release with unified internal storage.

Not as keen on this one. Mainly for aesthetic reasons - I don't like the larger buttons on the navigation bar, I prefer the smaller ones from the 1.1 build.

Is this something I can change in build.prop or does it come as part of the firmware and something I can't change myself?

Thanks for keeping the great Rom's coming OMA!

Sure, in post #1 is a Xposed Framework starter pack. You can theme the UI in any way you'd like ;-)

Thank you Oma, didn't think of Xposed (Doh!).

Gravity Box worked, changing the navbar height to about 70% made it look about right. I can't figure out though how to change the 2 volume controls (vol up and vol down) back to just the one switch which brings up the volume slider. 2 would be better for a lot of people, but personally I prefer the single button.

It's only a minor problem though, so I can live with it if it has to stay like it is. Multi-window is glorious!!

Never mind.. I figured it out from an earlier post of yours:

ro.rk.systembar.voiceicon=false

Thanks again!

This will disable the voice icons. You may then use apps like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1382603&d=1349603354

Thanks OMA, you're the best.

After removing the voice icons I just used the custom key in gravity box and set single click to volume control - bottom left on the screengrab attached.

This build is the best yet with tweaks to make the look of it to my liking!

Thanks again.

Hi Oma,

Thanks for your hard work cooking these ROMs for the Mini4.

Could you confirm if your latest ROM still has the incompatibility with Skype? It's really frustrating not being able to use Skype because you can't hear the other person. I actually bought this tablet to use it, mainly, with Skype.

Regards.

Well, that Skype isn't working properly on Rockchip hardware is known since the RK2918 days. I do not have hope in this case. Sorry.

You may use a headset or other apps like hangout.

Hi OMA,

Another question if I may. Did you do something different around the root with this version? With version 1.1 I tried every workaround I could to get the 4od app working (UK TV catchup service) but the app detects root and won't even download from play store or work in any way. With this version it downloads from play store no problem and seems to work as if it can't see the root. Good news for me

Thanks. An external speaker makes no difference at all.

There must be a way to get around this problem. It's hard to believe that somebody like Rockchip can't make hardware compatible with all basic software...

Hi Oma,

Thanks for your interest. However, this version makes no difference with the other ones I have already tried (some of them quite old).

There is no sound coming out from the speaker, with or without headphones.

Regards,
Manuel.
