Hello everyone,

Last week I received my brand new Teclast P90HD (A6K7) and flashed some custom ROMs with the RkDevelopTool (RileyROM 1.1, OMA Multiwindow, OmniROM). Everything worked fine until I wanted to flash another compatible ROM and the "Erase IDB" function failed. Now the tablet is not booting anymore. I think the Bootloader is broken. I recorded a video of the issue and uploaded it to youku (please disregard the background noises, it's just my girlfriend talking to the cat):

Can anybody in this board help me?

Yes, the loader is broken.

- unplug usb cable
- hold Power for 30 secs
- hold Vol+
- plug usb cable while still holding Vol+
- release Vol+ after a few secs

No the FlashTool should shown "found ..."

Thanks for your quick reply. I tried that several times. The tablet is not being recognized by my computers in the "Download Mode" (Power+VolUp) due to a failure in the USB enumeration. It is being recognized in the ADB mode (Power+VolDown) by the RKDevelopTool, but it's not listed under "adb devices" in the adb shell. Is there a possibility to recover it via SD-card?

Ok, then you need to open the tab to start it in Mask-Rom modus. Shot the NAND pins as shown in the attached foto. While shotting the pins plug usb-cable in.

I read about this mask-rom mode. But how do I open the Teclast P90HD? It has a unibody metal fuselage and I didn't find any dissassembly videos. Can you please tell me the exact number of the pins I am supposed to short?

Thanks for your help so far. I hope it is not too much too ask, but can you show me the exact spot where you opened the tablet. I tried to open it with a plastic opening tool, but it didn't work. Some pictures or a short video of the disassembly would be great. I don't want to destroy anything.

Sorry, can't help with that. I do not have the tab any longer.

You need something which is thinner and more stable ... like a scalpel. Start in the middle of the long side and be a bit brutal to go between the plastic front and the metal back case. Then use the scalpel as a leverage.
