I have 2 scripts in /system/etc/init/d:

94bt

#!/system/bin/sh

insmod /system/lib/modules/rtk_btusb.ko

write /dev/rtk_btusb 1

and

99btagain

#!/system/bin/sh

rmmod /system/lib/modules/rtk_btusb.ko

insmod /system/lib/modules/rtk_btusb.ko

but it doesn't solve a problem. Still, the only way to switch bt on is through a terminal.

Maybe I should put a reloading script somewhere else?

Yeah. Use Script Manager (from Play Store) to start the 99btagain later, when Wifi is connected.

Thanks,

I ended up making symlink  /system/usr/bin -> /system/etc/inid.d/99btagain and executing it as root from terminal whenever I want to use bluetooth. Off course, It works as long as tablet is rooted, but rom is excellent and this issue doesn't bother me. I  driven rather by curiosity to solve it.

BTW, is there somewhere alternative stock kernel to this that I can find in http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1561 ?  I tried unpack http://vondroid.com/resources/yarvik-tab07-485-update-zip.524/ with no success. I used ext4_utils_r4.3 and unpackbootimg. Is there other tool someone can recommend? I work on linux.

The firmware on vondroid does contain the same kernel #1, preempt 8 Nov 2013.

Hello there,

I've got this tablet (Noble mini) as well and I've tried this on a w10 PC but not with any luck so far. (because of drivers) Should it be working on 7 or 8?

Thanks!

No Rockchip Win10 driver for now. Best is to use Win7.

Edit: Alright, I've got my tablet working again and with CWM installed but the system.img doesn't want to 'Run' via the RKAndroidTool.

Alright, I tried it with 7 now and followed the instructions. But the RKAndroidTool failed to 'Run'.

Image Enlarger

And now I've got a black screen. But I'm able to get the program to find my tablet. But download keeps failing. 🙁

What do you tried to flash? Did you change the right kernel for your tab?

This kernel:
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/rk3188/i-have-a-yarvik-noble-mini-tab07-485-rk3188/#p50815

But I've got my tablet working again, but only the system.img won't 'download'. Sooo, is there a way to make this system.img flashable for CWM?

Whoops, but now I did. But still, the system.img won't download. Question here: Do I need to check the RK3188Loader in RKAndroidTool?

You can try that. Make sure you start with eraseIDB.

Funny problem. When you're on landscape mode and try to remove some app on the homescreen with longpress, the screen rotates. It's also on the nova launcher. 😛
