I have a tablet called "Geo Sp1078"
The chip has RK3188 on it
Has 1GB RAM and 16gb nand flash.
1280x800 ips display.
I flashed a Pipo M8 Pro firmware to it but that didn't work. The device starts but the screen is blank (but you can see the screen's backlight) just not displaying anything. It doesn't boot to recovery either, and a weird thing is happening, the usb connection keep disconnecting and connecting from windows a few times before it stabilizes and stay connected (i also fired up Androidtools and it showed the pink box)
Any other info needed I can provide it, I'd just like to find a suitable firmware for this.
I can open it up and get any info you might need so lemme know.

I googled this model and I can't seem to find the correct firmware, so if someone can help me identify the right one to use, that'd be awesome!

Every tab has its own kernel (hardware abstraction layer). You see the screen driver is not working for your tab. So do not flash firmware which is not for your tab.
I guess you also did not a backup of the stock firmware? And there is also no support of the supplier?

No I did not, unfortunately. (foolish mistake on my part).
No support WHATSOEVER.
How can I find the right firmware/kernel?
