Next time you want to buy an Android (phone/tablet) buy the ones with established brand name like Lenovo/ASUS/Onda/Huawei these are established brands with good support (not excellent) and at the same price or cheaper than  you bought your "Hannspree" (which we in Asia has never heard of the brand.) Like Lenovo it has a "upgrade path" road map on its web page so that you can decide the models to buy from KitKat to Lollipop maps."Penny wise pound foolish" must always remember that when purchasing these fast evolving technology parts. I buy newer models every 5-7 months and keep the old ones in my drawers.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1" here with Blisspop on it which is running android 5.1.1 but I wanted a 13.3" tablet and this was the best of the bunch. The only 13.3" tablet with an established brand is the Lenovo Yoga Tab Pro 2 which is over €800. I don't think €800 is less than the €254 including shipping I paid for this tablet.

Ha, ha, ha might as well go for the kill with an 18.5 inch tablet. The SAMSUNG GALAXY VIEW only 80% more expensive but you can carry it on a hot date, picnic, or as a portable IPTV on the subway. Only Euro 470 !! http://www.cnet.com/pictures/samsung-galaxy-view/

Do you criticize everybodys decision? Did it not occur to you that maybe I have eyesight problems? If you want to be like that then I could have went all out and bought a Nabi Big Tab 24" android tablet http://shop.nabitablet.com/products/nabi-big-tab-24-inch

Sorry when you put HA HA at the start I thought you were mocking my decision. I was thinking about vthat Samsung View but its just that much too big. The Hannspree tablet is very heavy so I could nearly imagine the weight of an 18.4" tablet.

On the Forum I run locally , all my users were at first aghast at the size of the SAMSUNG but then we began to crack jokes about it, some saying the very same things that I posted - going on a hot date with the "Tab" , lugging around town with a TV and no handsfree, imagine that. I personally am on a 7inch phablet as my phone and the smallest phone screen size for me is 6inch or no go. Most of us on my Forums are either on 6,7,8 inch Lenovo phablet. I came from a tablet background 10inch only.

I think its a good idea for home use if you don't have a TV in the kitchen or bedroom. But other than that its just a bit too big. I don't have a TV in my bedroom or kitchen so the 18.4" tablet would be an ok idea , but I'm not sure its worth it. I still want Android Lolipop on this tablet though.

After wiping my tablet and reinstalling my tablet is a whole lot faster than it was when it came from Hannspree. The WIFI on my tablet is very fast now. Its even faster than the WIFI on my Samsung GALAXY TAB 4. The whole tablet now makes my Samsung tablet look slow. When the screen is blank but the backlight is on then you can use the RK tools that Oma posted to flash CWM then download my CWM backup and flash it to the tablet.

Here is a flash pack: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2743

Copy the CWM backup to external sdcard (do not change or rename it) and restore it when tab boots into CWM.

There is no flashable zip from me. This is just a flash pack with boot, kernel and CWM recovery. System is in the backup from Steve. Do a factory reset in CWM and wait up to 10 min.

I got that error too when restoring. I had to wipe the NAND storage in the tablet options then restore again (After wiping the tablet just don't wipe /sytem or the tablet will stop working again) and the error went away.

Also to get back the storage go to your tablet settings then go to nand and wipe it to get back the missing storage. This is the only way I could get back the missing storage space after recovering my tablet.
