Super simple:
First use the build and unzip it.
Download the kernel for Vyper 7 and the parameter file. Replace both kernel.img and parameter in folder rockdev with the ones you've downloaded.
Follow the guide in the extracted build and in CWM recovery mode install both device fix and the 160dpi fix (don't unzip them!)

One more thing, I have noticed two things happening while I was using it all day:
- Video decoding seems to be a bit broken. I can watch YouTube videos fine but when I want to stream IPTV with Zattoo TV or Sunrise TV, the app crashes as soon as the video starts to play.
- Screen rotates for a moment in landscape when holding on icons/widgets (seems to be OmniROM specific)

The following users say thank you to TimeWalker for this useful post:

Hm, when you are on the stock KK build (rk31 update-vyper-7-3188-v3.0.1-201404011608) then you need to change the loader first in this way: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1631

Thank you for the rotation fix, this fixed the random rotation when holding.

Also hardware video acceleration still seems not to work well. I have tried playing a mkv file on VLC. The image stops moving after a second while the audio plays normally. MX Player doesn't allow me to use HW Decoder at all.

I'll put in the catlog of this:

Nope, HW+ is also not supported.

I have a feeling that this is connected with IPTV apps crashing as they also rely on H.264. These apps worked fine on stock firmware.

I've tried looking around a bit but I can't seem to find any way to fix it myself. It seems that stagefright can't initialize a codec and instead crashes while MX Player can't find codec id 169.

MSC = mass storage device. I guess this is a driver issue or the tab is not in flash modus.

Well, that might be the case, because when I tried to install .img stock rom and I went for "switch" in Batchtool, then after restart windows couldn't recognize my device...But I tried reinstall drivers several times and nothing. Can it be fault of windows 10?

Well, the unsigned RK driver and Win10 are not friends. Try an other USB port and use this Driver Assistant: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=2766

In generall a key combination is more safe to start the flash modus.

In my case windows 7 was the solution.

Hi, I am trying to ask are the any Lollipop or Marshmallow rom for Unu edition from Snakebyte Vyper Gaming edition tablet which have included bluetooth air mouse keyboard and joystick. i have it in stock rom which 4.2.2. and its rooted . i hope i can get it in Lollipop if possible since i have seen theres a rk3188 board (like raspberry pie board but RK chip based)on internet that its last android version was in lollipop. since this old version will eventually unsupported any future game that actually their requirement actually low just their android version only restricted not for hardware requirement. Also are there any method to delete their stock partition that they do in this rom which i have 0.98GB on space for rom and app install and around 5.67GB for internal memory. i want to make 1 partition of internal memory so i dont have limit to install app they lock in 1gb internal memory partition included system so thats make nand flash or internal SD card combine with internal memory as 1 internal memory as 8GB. The partion state 3 part which 0.98GB as internal storage that 5.67GB state as nand flash or internal SD card and real SD card as external SD card.

Please reply if you could solve or help my problem.
