Hello there,
I tried to install Oma's KitKat ROM (http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?p=3319) to my rooted 9719QR. Unfortunately, I can't remember nor figure out how to use the RKAndroidTool to flash the *.imgs. I installed all the drivers (I think) and tried connecting the tablet both when booted up and when I connect it in fastboot (Vol Up when connecting, nothing happens though). In both cases The tool won't recognize a device, but also windows' device manager shows no uninstalled devices or errors. Using Win10 x64.
I would appreciate help!
Thank you in advance
Â
Edit: I held the Vol Up Button, then connected the USB, then pressed Power On on the tablet. after a few seconds, there is a new device under device manager, but none of the drivers is being accepted for it :/

There are no Rockchip driver for Win10. Use a PC with Win 7.

Win7 solved it. Rockchip driver worked, so I could flash it.

Unfortunately, the performance is horrible, did I set anything wrong?
Â
I flashed the ROM, booted into Recovery, flashed the NAND fix, then it wanted to fix something with stock recovery, as I thought i clicked something wrong, I pressed "go back", but it'd just jump to "fix supersu?" with I answered with yes. Didn't wipe anything or so.
Â
I already set performance gov, but the tablet ui is terribly laggy and also the simpsons game runs horribly slow. Reflash the tablet?

The answer is NO. Flash again, incl. eraseIDB.

I did erase the idb before flashing like you said in the instructions. After the flash, do I answer both questions with yes? Also, it asked me whether I wanted a complete flash (reset), or just some stuff (upgrade). I chose full wipe, correct?

Thank you for your help! I appreciate it

A new build needs some time to settle. There are a lot of activities in the background, like app update and mediaservice.
