It does not charge over usb. I tried with screen off and tablet off and an amp meter. It does not draw anything from the usb charger. 0.00 amps. I used and adaptor to connect the charging port to a 1 amp usb charger and it is drawing 0.60 amps so the charging port has some mechanism to detect the charging source and not try to pull 2 amps from any charger. I guess wiring the usb port +/- to the charging port will work. It will not charge faster but it will do the job.

Can you pls check with Androsensor (see Play Store) if there is an event for accelerometer?

Can you pls check kernel #607 (see post #11)? Just copy to folder rockdev/Image and untick all boxes other than kernel/resource/uboot. Then Run.

when I connect the chuwi it is seen as MSC device. I click switch the tablet shut down or goes into flash mode but the RK tool does not see any device. What is the flash menu from the rebool Menu app? Reboot Bootloader or reboot download?

If I don't click on switch and just on run I get Match device type failed, stop running !

OK it was a driver issue. I switched to windows 8.1 and had to install the driver from your initial rk3128 package. I flashed the kernel as you said but still the same issue. I checked kernel version is #607.

good news. I did a reset to factory + erase sdcard. twrp showed some errors but tablet did reset and now screen rotation is working. thanks.

did you have time to see my earlier question? storage partitioning and tablet imaging. I will test twrp backup/restore tonight. is it possible to use the rktool to do the same operation of cloning?

rewiring the usb port to the charging port is not an option 🙁 too complicated and the pins are too small. so I will try to source other chuwis with usb charging feature.
