Hello distinguished gentlemen,
I have come into possession of a nameless tablet that has a locked (custom) android rom which i cannot re purpose into a multimedia machine.
Now i have opened up the tab so that i can find what pcb and hardware it has. It has a q101 v3 pcb with the following chips :
two samsung k4b4g1646q-hyk0
An Ap6330 wifi/bt module
and one Hynix H27UCG8T2BTR-BC
And naturally the RK 3128
I know that it has a Kitkat (4.4.4) rom. Even though i'm unable to get into the settings. Luckily the makers left the usb debugging on as a standard and i was able to root the tab and install TWRP. I used the 1024x600 img. It seems that this 10 inch tab has an resolution of 1280x800 (judging by the black banners on the right and below) And i was unable to mount the internal storage with TWRP so that i can at least try a different rom. (i allso cannot acces the internal storage when the tab is connected to the pc, while on)
Any help would be appreciated!
There is no developement for RK312x tabs. However, when you have TWRP running you can install gapps, SuperSU, Xposed Framework etc. Pls make sure you do backup of the stock firmware first.
