I need rooting my Pipo U8 to solve some problems with the touch screen (ghost touchs), but my notebook does not recognize the Pipo U8.
I connect it, and is an exclamation yellow (in manager devices on windows 7), I try to install rockchip drives but windows 7 is not.
Any way to fix this?
I can not install rom on it, because my notebook does not recognize the Pipo U8.
Can anyone help me please?

Hello,
I am new to all these flashing things so i am sorry if my questions are stupid or something but i found out that this rom is very good and i want to try it.
1) the 4GB internal storage is optional like i saw in others roms or that's it?
2) do i need all these files too and what are they and how am i gonna use them?

3) i saw in the instructions and in a guide video in youtube that because the rom is for chuwi v88 it needs the volume button to go in flash mode and also if i am correct in order to move in the menu when it is in cwm but pipo u8 doesn't have volume button so what's there?

los 4 gb es opcional, lo demas no lo se, para ponerlo en modo flash desde RKBatchTool da la opcion de reiniciar a modo flash CREO QUE ES BOTON SWITCH yo lo he probado pero no ha funcionado
pero creo por que instale ayer windows 8.1 y tendre que reinstalar drives

ya esta 
busque en goglee : Rockusb_v3.5 y SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_1.4.8.0.exe
y ADB-Drivers instale todo eso y tendria que funcionar, si no lo encuentre, miraria de darselo yo

The storage space allocated for applications (/data partition) is determined by the parameter file (located in rockdev directory from Oma firmware package)

A friend of mine bought one of Pipo U8, he says it's very good and very similar with IPad MINI.

I quite think that the only difference is the default language and that you can change it easilly. I hope I'm not mistaking.
EDIT: I confirme that you can change the language very easilly. It is even in the first screen when you start the tablet after flashing, so no need to seek the parameter into a mess of chinese characters.
