belier said My first post on this forum. Hi to all! I've recently purchased the M9 Pro 3G version and I'm in the process of testing different ROMs.   What about battery life with this one? With my current ROM, it never stops the wifi, even with the only when charging option selected, resulting in an important battery drain.   Thanks in advance.

Try the app deep sleep battery saver. It's perfect for you want.

Thanks for answering.

What's a pity is that my Pipo M3 works perfectly in this aspect. When sleeping, wifi is not working.

Hi,

Fitst of all, thank you very much for your fantastic work on this ROM :)

I just have a quick question, I upgraded the Pipo M9 but the "quick boot" setting does not show up in the setting... Do you know why ? Thanks.

Actually, I think current KitKat firmwares don't have Quickboot nor the status bar hiding features.

Post #1 mentioning these was a mistake, it's corrected now.

Cheers.

I got this rom installed in my M9 Pro and it works beautifully

I do have one really really annoying problem though
When using typing I cannot turn off the screen tap sound and its really bugging me, so that so that I'm considering getting rid of the tablet

Is there a simple way to disable the screen tap sounds?
Yes I have been through all the menu's and unticked the box that says screen tap sound.

I've tested deep sleep battery saver. Every time my tablet goes deep sleep, it turns off completely. I have to turn it on.

Tomorrow I'll install a new ROM to see if not disconnecting Wifi when on standby it's not a fault from my device.

It is very strange. Did you make all the wipes( dalvik cache etc) after flashing the rom?

Try kasty rom with jb 4.2 and install nova launcher and gravity box. I think this is the best option for ours pipo m9 pro tablets until pipo launch a stable kitkat rom and kasty cook it for us :D

Hi everyone!

I wonder if that ROM support nfs (network file system)? In the first post of that thread the cifs is mentioned but no info about nfs.

The second question I have is if anyone has tried to connect m9pro with that ROM installed to external monitor/TV via HDMI cable? Did it work well or there were some issues (e.g. scaled to 1080p low resolution, colored lines across the monitor screen, etc)?

For those looking for multi-user support, I have implemented the patch didierm posted, thanks to him !

I have tested it for a short time and it seems to work. I can just report I am getting some kind of Android restart (not really a full reboot) after I did Add  / User and I clicked OK button.

This should be considered as a temporary solution until Rockchip or PiPO provide a proper multi-user support in their firmware.

Flash with Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.7, use Restore button.

Cheers.

Would be a good idea to install GravityBox with 4.4.2?

I'm quite satisfied with this ROM. But got GB on my phone and it's a great mod,  if not the best.

Though I'm not sure if it's recommendable for a tablet. I've also google'd if someone has GravityBox on a pipo m9 pro and found nothing about it.

Btw,  new to the forum. Glad to be here,  thanks for all the good work.
