Well, to be fair, when I tested it the navigation was really smooth and snappy. The graphical problem I currently have when using the tablet in portrait position of showing purple lines across the screen, didn't happen. Also, I loved the new keyboard and feel of the new ROM. Can't wait for them to release the final product!

I would say, watch this space...

Also, antutu tested at 14000 instead of the old 18000 on JB 4.2.2

Did you reboot before running antutu? You may have had programs in background. I tested at 15,400 then rebooted, new result 18,461!Laugh

Mine (wifi only) made 18.200 points...

Very fluid navigation, no extreme battery drain, lot of apps in google play.... great rom! Waiting for the definitive version.

How long does your battery last?

I bought my first Pipo M9 Pro and all I can get out of it is 2 hours max just using Wifi and internet browsing!

Not sure if this is normal. Can you let me know how much a 7000mAh battery should last? (According to Pipo specs it should last up to 9 hours!!!)

Not normal. I have new tablet. Charged then used until battery low then recharged etc. I did read that you should avoid 'topping up' battery. I reloaded 4.4.2 around over 4 hours ago and have been on WiFi since, just checking things out, trying Skype, BBC iPlayer, but no videos yet. Battery at 68%. Will load and try a video later and will update this post. Watched 1hr of video over WiFi plus listened using Bluetooth headphones. Used 16% of battery.

If you read through this thread you will see many people noted that GPS module is missing. Plus you will see warnings about loading this ROM which is a work in Progress I believe. you may have some problems loading an older ROM back. If so read through thread carefully (and other threads about bricked Pipo M9s).

I have the M9 Pro with 3G and this rom has 3G in it... works perfectly.

So far this rom is the best I've had on mine.. so much more fluid, apps open much smoother and faster, haven't had any apps hang yet

so far loving it!!

Does the CWM version included with arctools work with this ROM for anyone? I know from my phone that all the custom recoveries had to be updagted to work with 4.4.

I installed CWM on my tablet but I can't do anything with it, I just keep getting mount errors. The only thing it does without a problem is reboot system.... Any advice? I have a few zips I'd like to flash....

I've updated post #1 with some screenshots.

G B, I tested Miracast, trying to display remotely on a Minix Neo X7, it didn't work for me. I haven't yet investigated where the problem could be.

Cheers.

I can't install the rom.

It throws me the message:

<Layer 2-3> This operation didn't do, because of not supporting!

Restore Done Success<0> Fail<1> Time<0>ms

The button saying upgrade tells me the same.

I tried to reset, hitting with a needle the reset hole + power button, but I got the same message. In Rockchip Batch tool, the connected devices  box paints in pink the number one, with "2-3" under it.

Anybody with a possible solution?

Thanks.
