Well, to be fair, when I tested it the navigation was really smooth and snappy. The graphical problem I currently have when using the tablet in portrait position of showing purple lines across the screen, didn't happen. Also, I loved the new keyboard and feel of the new ROM. Can't wait for them to release the final product!

I would say, watch this space...

Also, antutu tested at 14000 instead of the old 18000 on JB 4.2.2

Mine (wifi only) made 18.200 points...

Very fluid navigation, no extreme battery drain, lot of apps in google play.... great rom! Waiting for the definitive version.

How long does your battery last?

I bought my first Pipo M9 Pro and all I can get out of it is 2 hours max just using Wifi and internet browsing!

Not sure if this is normal. Can you let me know how much a 7000mAh battery should last? (According to Pipo specs it should last up to 9 hours!!!)

Antutu was 18,200 on mine with all aspects marked as 'good' (previously 2D graphics was 'general').

Agree that navigation etc on this release were good. I like the 4.4.2 and will try the 'Chinese version' on the pipo site just to see if that behaves any different. Luckily it is a new tablet so checking it out and not loading lots of apps yet, so reloading firmware not such a chore. But for the future..... anyone recommend an app for backup/restore? I find Titanium crashes a lot!

Not is normal at all. In a travel, my pipo gets +4 hours reproducing video. At home, with only wifi and internet,  gets +8 hours...

There are some misisng drivers in kernel that causes the GPS not working. That is why I dont want to update my pad as yet maybe another 2 KitKat update from factory before I will update. I had just settle down to have a quiet rest with M9Pro without reflashing it, enjoying my Mapping software (Sygic).

But after they have solved the gps problems download from this thread my gps help files for gps improvement.

http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/pipo-max-m9/improving-the-gps-fix-on-rk3xxx-devices-1/

It si now automated install through ADB you dont have to copy and paste.

Some of the newbies here still dont learn "read through the Forum postings first" before asking a repetitive question like how to backup their data and restore it after a reflash. It has been answered already on another thread in this Forum.

The method mentioned is NOT for resetting the device it is get it ready for a reflash of new firmware. IT IS NOT ABOUT RESETTING THE DEVICE!! Please read the thread throughly first. Young guys do not have the patience to read the instructions before experimenting.

At least 6 hours installing apps, testing games, running antutu, etc...

Wifi is a little bit weaker, the soft buttons are a litle decentralized, gps still not working, but even with those minor flaws (at least to me these are minor flaws) my m9pro works great with kitkat!!

HeHeHeHe,

I wasnt taking about yourself just a general statement that young guys just dont have the patience to read thoroughly the forums and they cry out for help. I didnt see the last statement that you made that you already solved your problem. GREAT. I for one am not ready to upgrade to KitKat in its present form.

Have also checked out the Chinese version on pipo site. GPS missing and miracast does not connect although the TV and tablet do see each other and message - do you want to connect - does appear on tablet but then they do not connect. Some apps appear to work better/properly on 4.4.2. For example bbciplayer - on other versions the status bar was inaccessible whilst watching a programme.

Thanks cracktech, you can reallise when people are confronted with a possible bricked device they haven't the patience to read true all the posts(me included)Smile

About KitKat,you are right, stay away from it ,aparantly it's from a Russian developer and not from PiPo
