I tried to downgrade kitkat to 4.2.2 rileypackage but on halfway i found the broken andriod logo so i restarted it. Now when i start my tablet, it goes on to broken andriod logo screen and can't able to go into usb mode, what must i do guys???

Did you read the manual from rriley?

KitKat has a changed bootloader and that couses the trouble you have now.

Ya. I'm fine. Just do a hardbricking of the pipo and restore it to the 4.2.2 rileyrom. Kitkat couldn't use gps and mainly issues with some games such as Hayday etc. So i thinking temporarily converting back to 4.2.2 will be more stable. I might be switching to Kasty rom 4.2.2 as it might be more stable. Thanks for your reply.

It won't work, you can not go back from 4.4.2 because you have another bootloader now.

You said you have the Android on his back and that means you are bricked.

Now you have to open you tablet and shortcut two pins of the Nand chip, you can read in rrileys first post from his topic how to do so.

I don't think this is very accurate.

It is possible to downgrade from Android 4.4.2 KitKat to Android 4.2 JellyBean using just Rockchip Batch Tool. I am currently making some tests and will post the procedure as soon as I am satisfied with the results.

Cheers.

I know it's possible with rrileys flash tool with that tool you can flash the old bootloader back but i assume that derricktanyz has a brick now.

People should read before flashing....

I tested 4.4.2 upgrade kit kat kat and downgrade to 4.2.2 on my jelly bean kit pipo m9 pro RKBatch_Tool_v1.7 3G using the flash tool,
would be interesting if there was a tutorial on how to downgrade to the original firmware 4.2.2 using jelly bean alum flash tool so that the rom works stable ...

Yup. I downgraded to 4.2.2 jellybean from Kitkat. Now having some issues, when you make the tablet rotate horizontal, it will tend to freeze at setting and some games. The hide status bar is kinda useless towards some games as it will pause the gameplay and stuck there, I didn't know this is firmware issue or what. But kasty 4.2.2 rom has more customized Arktool setting to install CWM easily and the deep sleep mode for tablet to save battery life.

TUN module working good.

CIFS not tested

Found froblem with g-sensor in applications. G-sensor in system working good, turns screen like it should be, but in applications no reaction.

There is a tutorial "Switching back to Jellybean from KitKat" on Freaktab.

Good afternoon. I have a problem here. In every single app that uses the camera, the camera simply freezes. It only works on the default android app. When I use an app that need access to the camera, at the first second an image of what i'm trying to shoot appear, but then the image goes still. The camera freezes. Is this a known issue or its just me?

Thx

I'm just downloading it now. Funny I only decided to check out for new ROMs for the M9Pro today after having tried the first PIPO KitKat ROM from their site the other day. I did find a few buggy problems such as flashing screen in some apps and unresponsive buttons. Pure coincidence that I logged on today and saw that the new PIPO update had just gone on line!

Will let you know how I get on.

The new update is still 4.2.2! Minus the PIPO launcher. Just exploring and testing but seems ok.... so far

So the update is only for the 3G version?
