slackerlx,

I'd like to know what which app you would like to be kept in our custom firmware and if that's OK to get them as an additional package, probably thru ArcTools

- Logbook is a MUST.. (The best diary programme so far)

- oosic Video widget for Family Launcher

- oosic music player with widget for Family Launcher (VERY convenient) - MUST

- Not critical but time widget is also quite convenient because there's nothing you can see in the morning with one blood-shot eye, especially a tiny clock in the system bar :)

I included shots for your convenience to see what they are :)

Thank you.

@admin

Please don't buy Pipo from AliExpress. Expensive and unreliable plus inability to use PayPal. Here is where you can get it cheaper and faster and through PayPal

http://www.banggood.com/PIPO-M9-Pro-3G-Quad-Core-1_6GHz-10_1-Inch-Android-4_2-Tablet-p-80089.html

Even better: http://www.focalprice.com/CE0576B/PiPo_M9PRO_3G_Version_10.1_Capacitive_Retina_Display_Android_4.2.2_Quad_Core_RK3188_1.8GHz_Tablet_PC_Phablet_with_Built_in_3G_GPS_Bluetooth__Auto_Focus_Camera_32GB__Black_.html
Very relaiable, good reputation, Pay Pal, pay a little more and you get delivery by EMS/DLH/UPS in a few days.

Cheers!

Lottoman

Uh-uh... You didn't say the magic word. Bandgood has worldwide free delivery service :)

And so do Focalprice, but then they use China Post, that takes longer time, like 2-4 weeks for delivery to  Europe. I mentioned the other transporters for those who want the goods real quick. I never used them but I am in no hurry...Laugh

Thanks for the rom! Best one so far ! Everything works smooth and without crashes (except GPS of course ).

Jost one thought : Can it be done in a way so we can flash the rom using CWM? It's a real hassle to copy all my titanium backups and data... and all the other files to my pc and back. For me at least that comes to a total of 18 gigs of data and a few wasted hours every new rom .

Just uploaded to Pipo M9pro 3g. First impressions - 3g works fine (tested at signal levels around 80 dbms), wifi seems to be much more stable now but I have some experience that after installing basic set of application from Google - gmail, g+, etc. the performance of the wifi starts to behave less stable (I observed that also on previous various firmware versions - stock and custom). No shaking screen and more or less the internet connection is now usable (with some slowing downs and very short breaks - grey wifi icon or reconnection).

Looks like to be the best firmware version till now so many thanks to author (sent a small donation for great effort to help us).

Still missing in the wireless display setting an option to switch off that feature. The only option is to search wireless displays. I don't know why Pipo does not include such option (to switch off wireless display).

I will be very busy next days so I will continue to test my tablet next week.

Thank you and wish to everybody nice weekend

Robert

Hey

After some more testing i noticed a big framerate drop in the application switcher, don't know why but it's very slow compared to the previous version. Also plant versus zombies 2 seems slower than before.

The wifi seems slower. Only 2 Mbit on a 20 Mbit network ;/

Will try this one.

My biggest complaint is the slow browser experience across all roms. If you compare to - say the Ipad mini - there is a huge difference in how fast the page loads and how fluid scrolling is. Is there any fix \ or advice towards this ?

Also - I`m really keen to see what an overclock can do with the tablet. I hope you get your test unit soon :)  Cool

Got a mail from Anna,. Pipo:

Hello,

The PiPO M9pro_software_3G&WiFi_english version_20131030 is an OTA firmware.

This firmware optimizes the wifi and solve the video call problem of the Skype for M9 pro.

I will ask my workmates to write more details about the firmware next time.

Best regards,

Anna

YIPPI: Looks like we can get changelogs from now on. That would help a lot to decide for upgrade or not...
