Nice Pic, that GPS signal is pretty good. I always thought my Pipo M6pro-3G is the best one. Now you impressed me with your Pipo M9.

However, i am satisfied with my M6p, I will try to upgrade it too!

those tactile buttons will really work in the cwm ??

DominiqueL, since the M9 pro doesn't have Vol+/- buttons you need to use gestures (touch and move up or down) on the touchscreen to move within the recovery. See some details here:

Hi,

as a newbe here it seems I need some help ! . I have tryed to up date my pipo m9 pro using the recomended software. Every thing works fine untill i try to update, it all boils down to the fact I cannot connect to the software ,

NO GREEN BUTTON ,

. Pink yes, and which ever method I use to connect, eg hold this button, push and hold and so on Nada!. Greatfull for suggestions,

maybe I have to install some thing more?.

Yeah! You got the pink button now? before anything else -- PRESS THE "SWITCH" button and the device will shut itself off (when you press "SWITCH" --- then it will turn GREEN ____after that click on the "RESTORE" button NOT, DO NOT press the "UPGRADE" button ---press the "RESTORE" button.

Make sure that all the connections are OKay and power cable is on.

Since you have made the first foul. Reboot your PC and redo your whole set up again.==, without pressing any buttons on the device reboot Pc and reboot device before connecting them agiain you must be on Win7 32bit not Win8.

Download the device driver installer in (just a bonus for you newbiee) :run the RKDriver Installer and reattach the device to PC and see your icon IF it detects any new devices (and drivers needed to be installed) and wait for it to finish installation before attempting another flashing.

WoW! Great work! You mange to to flash the ROm laready I was waiting for the news.

Just dont use the PiPo launcher it will ask you to register on its site and if anything goes wrong with the registration you will not be able to access your homepage and the only thing you can do is to reflash.

It might look intersting to use the PiPo Launcher but beware! My advise is for you not to use the PiPo Launcher but the Android standard Launcher and then (since we are already rooted) RootUninstall the PiPo launcher and then CertificateCenter.apk on the device and download from other tens of Launchers from the Playstore.

This will circumvent the problems of not being registerd device (we bought it and it is ours!) then it tells us that if you are not registered then you cant use the device! what nonsense!

Remember dont use the PiPo Launcher or if you had already used it dont reboot your device as yet download RootUninstaller programs and uninstall the PiPo Launcher and then the CertCenter.apk before you reboot. It might turn up that since you are not registered it will not let you pass the homepage screen, and the only option is to reflash the whole damn thing again.

not sure what you are talking about with the pipo launcher but i didn't had any problem with it at all. Nothing with the registration or anything ... I have already reboot my tablet a couple of time

Hi I have not used the pipo launcher because it dont exsist on this unit ! . Anti vir had allready told me that this unit has been routed and I should allways use original software ( grins) . Anyway I was supprised, but thats what you get when you buy direct from China. A big plus is of course that all the FREE useless software has disapeared ! .I can allso report that my WiFi is now stable no more loss of connection and seems to be faster . Now I am now very happy with this pipo, which I only bought to replace my Motorola Zoom ( mother in law got it).
