Just gotta say thanks for this ROM! I updated my M9 Pro (non-3G version) and everything worked first time. WiFi reception seems to be a lot better, and the annoying flickering buttons issue has gone. AnTuTu scores are slightly up too. :)

I'll be keeping my eye out for future updates. Many thanks!

Just to add, the whole tablet seems much 'snappier' and faster than on the original stock ROM. Well pleased. :)

@Admin

I forgot to report this occasion but here it is:

I was performing testing per Antutu Labs request using their newest "Antutu X Benchmark" supposedly the one which prevents cheating. It requires a login. I was, of course testing the factory Rom #314 updated by OTA

They were impressed by Pipo M9Pro performance. Here is our conversation log and my screenshot of it :)

@slackerlx That's a good score.. the best i've been able to achieve is 18939, and that is when i force the use of the GPU for 2d drawing in dev options.

Hi,

I try this ROM for about two weeks now and I have some trouble with the brightness.

When I start the tablet I can adjust the brightness with the slider available in the settings panel but after about 30 minutes of use, the brightness automatically goes to the maximum. So I try to reduce the brightness in the settings panel but whatever the position of the slider is, the brightness is still very high (at the maximum I think). I precise that I am not in auto mode and I have no apps or widget to set the brightness (Actually I deleted everything that can interfere with the official setting). If I turn off then on the screen it is still the same, I have to reboot the tablet for having the brightness setting working again. It was not the same with the stock ROM.

Someone has the same behaviour or an idea ?

Regards.

Actually it is a hardware issue. I created a topic for that here

Just got a M9Pro for the wife, for Christmas.  Was going to update the firmware from the factory until I ran across this post.

According to the factory site they updated the firmware today Nov 21, 2013.  Should I wait for the latest firmware to be modified, by the local Guru, before updating the wife's tablet?
