Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have a PIPO M9 pro tablet to test the custom firmware.

Hi.

Many thanks fo this new firmware. I've installed it on my tablet, but the multi user stilll doesn't work. I still get the black screen with the android message.

Since Pipo doesn't communicate any changelog, how can we know what's new or fixed ?

The I don't really understand what's different from the previous version.

I was expecting a firmware based on 4.3 Android, but it seems I'll have to wait..

Again thanks.

After flashing, the tablet works fine. Additionally decided my problems with screen flickering and ghosting on the screen.
On all previous firmware / kernels, these problems were present.
Many thanks to the admin for his work.

Respect!

Has someone tested if this version has improved the signal and stability of the GPS?
All Pipo M9 Pro works badly with GPS navigators like Sigyc, Navigon, tom-tom. It finds few sattellites and looses them very easy. Impossible to navigate point to point using this GPS in a car.

If someone test the GPS of the version 2013/09/06 Pipo ROM, please, comment it here.

My Pipo M9 Pro will shut down by itself if left unused for a few hours. Anyone having this issue too? Is this a firmware or hardware problem?

Btw, I checked the Pipo website on what is updated in the 20130906 firmware:

1. Wifi problems.

2. Screen flickering.

3. Inaccurate battery level.

Hello,

could you please communicate the URL where you got this info ?

Because for each new firmware release, I'm looking unsuccessfully for any changelog. I even required twice Pipo by mail to detail, but no answer.

Many thanks.

Regards

I find out that my pipo m9pro (non-3g) hang/auto-shutdown is because I leave my WiFi on and without connecting it to any network. Once I off the WiFi then it has no problem.

That is when I am using Kasty 22 Aug 2013 firmware.

Currently I am downloading this firmware and I will flash it tonight. Hopefully it fixed my problem.

Here is the change log of Pipi M9 Pro from official website

http://pipo.cn/index.php?m=About&a=gujian_show&id=119 (Chinese)

http://pipo.cn/En/index.php?m=About&a=gujian_show&id=119 (English)

Unfortunately, there is no logs in English version, but Chinese version only. And lostship had given correctly translation already.
