Dear developers and friends,

I have purchased a brand new PIPO M9Pro 3G tablet about 7 days back. It has strange problem when I connect it with my PC in USB Debugging mode. I wish to root it by running the ADB command on it.

1. My PC is running Windows-7 x64

2. On connecting the tablet with PC the PC looks for the drivers ( as it should).

3. I install the rockusb drivers v3.5 (which I have downloaded from this forum) But it says that the windows is unable to install the drivers.

4. I check the hardware_ID of the tablet in properties of the unidentified device in the "Device manager" of the PC, I find it to be

USBVID_2207&PID_0010&REV_0222&MI_01
USBVID_2207&PID_0010&MI_01

5. Surprisingly this hardware_ID is not listed in the rockusb.inf file of the driver v3.5. It appears that the manufacturer has installed some hardware in the tablet which needs different rochusb driver.

Has anybody encountered such problem.

I shall be glad if someone on this forum comes forward for a solution.

I allways recommend to use the Rockchip DriverAssitant for installing the drivers correctly.

Simply follow the instructions . It will install driver version 3.7

Good luck

So guys I have managed to resolve this problem.

1. I have tailored the USB Drivers which come along-with the Android SDK suiting to M9Pro3G

and

2. used the ver1.0.26 of ADB. Strangely the newer version of ADb like 1.0.31 etc does not work with PIPO M9Pro3G.

I am very happy now...

For those who face such problem The two are attached herewith. These are only for Windows x64 operating system.
