I have reflash the ROM successfully , it seems that the power up screen is still stock

PiPo and also the Bootanimation is still the stock animation as per the original

factory power up screens. Just to let you know that I have noticed an increased in the

performance of the PiPo from 15000++ to 17000++ on the Antutu score!!

The reason I flash this ROm is that when I self rooted and removed some of the factory

installed apps  (thank god it was without the Chinese apps ex-factory ROM athough the

manual booklet was totally in Chinese) it was causng to freeze  of an on and I had to

reset (pin hole) but by using a clean install of ROM without the apps it was a breeze

all the way although I did add some apps into the systems like RootExplorer/Sd

Increase/ Quick Exit and updated the Maps/Calendar/Talk/Gmail/Calendar sync

adapter/Talkback/YouTube into the system directly but I dare not update Playstore and

Google Plus directly into system as I had a bad experience on my other pads of which

these apps are identified as the culprit causing boot loop and crashing the pad.

But who neds it when we have 4Gb of data space . Thanks admin/kasty for the ROM
Attached are the performance pictures from 15000 to 17000++ of the Kasty ROM.

Attachments of performance difference:

Great, cacktech!

My M9pro comes in the next week and i decided to install that great ROM. I usually install freaktab roms in my tablets, but that kasty is awesome! So, what you say about battery life? Do you notice any improvement or decay??

Regards!

Hey! This is a bit of a noob question, but I saw you've listed kernel modules (cifs, tun, lan, serial, xpad).
From a bit of searching I can see that they are small bits of code designed to extend system functionality, but how exactly do they work, and are they already implemented in this rom, or do you have to activate them?

Thanks

It doesn't work in my tablet. I can see in settings the options to add new users, but when I reboot, It is frozen in a black screen saying that "com.android.provision.defaultactivity" proces doesn't work.

More people have the same problem -> http://www.flashmyandroid.com/forum/showthread.php?4424-4-2-2-Multipe-users-Won-t-work

Hello.

Up !

I've recently bought a Pipo M9 Pro no3G, flashed it with the suitable Kasty firmware, modified the /system/..prop file to allow multiuser (I've got kids...), added a new user in the settings, but when I reboot my tablet and try to login this new user, I get a black screen with "com.android.provision.DefaultActivity" message, and no more access to apps,...

Has someone found a solution ?

Please help me, because I like this firmware since it's rather light, and I want to avoid flashing the tablet with another firmware as I have read on other forums.

Tito, what have you finally done ?

Many thanks by advance.

(sorry for my english wich is not my native langage)

Don't intend to put you down but i saw the same difference in numbers with the stock firmware after antutu updated to v4. I will post my own scores after i flash the rom to show the scores both on v4

Both of my scores were 187xx using antutu v4.0

Apart from the **.nm files i the system folders (with correct permissions) you need to install the .apk files as well I am sure it is install as a normal apk but as a pair with the apk files in the system folders , becomes a system files. unless after you have installed the *.nm files in the system folder and try to install the apk files as a normal app as was the factory ROm you could give it a try. I am quite sure that without the *.nm files in the system folders the *.apk files will install successfully (failed to install)

I have attached my backed up files for you.

OK!!

good work!

Just copy the file in your PiPO application folder on sdcard

install the file with apk manager

click home icon to select the PiPO launcher : it run!

But... many icon doest'n functions 'cause there aren't the relative app!

i.e.= explorer or book reader.... there is a method to edit pipo launcher and link the square icon to another app? (i.e. root browser, local meteo app, ....)

I realised that too when I run the PiPo launchers. luckily i have a backup file of the important Files maybe in two parts for the **.apk and **.nm. i have here the apk for SInslide /Logbook and most important of all the Explorer

You can download it from this  link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qo3b3k17btsq037/PiPo-app.zip

Sorry about that the duplicated POST I didnt mean to, because our Forums doesnt have EDIT facilities bythe author of the post so here it is again

The accompanying **.nm files , just a note If you want to uninstall it please use a Rootuninstaller because the apps although are registered in the normal apps but remember they all have the **.nm file in the system foder so if you just do a normal uninstall there still remains garbage files in the system folders.

Here are the links to Slide/Logbook and most important of all the explorer I did not include the  Reader file because i think it is childish but I have it here seperately:

The READER **.apk only no need for the **.nm file : https://www.dropbox.com/s/awa8wrxnpd0ehib/com.oozic.incstage.reader.53.apk

The best hacking to PiPO family launcher (very good graphics style and simple to use)  is change the link to OOsic apk to any other we like...

I't too hard?
