Hello.

I have a problem with my Pipo m9 pro. When i tried to go back to JB from Kitkat, the flashing process went wrong and got a red line in the log. Now i can't turn on my tablet. When i plug it in to my Win 8.1 laptop, it says "unknown device identifier device descriptor request fail". With win 7, i managed to do cracktechs method and put on drivers. So with win 7 it recognises as a Rockchip device. But both the RK batck tool and the RK flash tools doesn't recognise it. "No RK Android device found" and the rk batch tools has all the numbers grayed out. Any idea on this? I also tried the "attach the pins method", but i had no luck.

Thanks.

With KK you got now a 2nd gen loader and a partition layout, which is not compatible with JB builds (gen1 loader, less hidden write space).

Change the loader first. Here is a tool: http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1631

Ok, gen1 loader is now active. So you can flash JB.

I need help with my Pipo M9 Pro 3g. All data is lost. It Powers on and comes to Pipo Interactive Media 4.2.2, then screen goes blank. Press Power again brings up Time Date , nothing else, only wifi icon top right corner. I have contacted Pipo .com.cn for help but they are very evasive and will not offer advice. Can someone on here help. I have downloaded some of the firmware as Cracktech advised in post 20 but as I am not experienced in all of this can someone lead me through the process to see if this Tablet is fixable. Thank you in advance

George,

Barring any hardware issues the M9Pro is recoverable. First I hope you have downloaded all the Firmware/ ROMs and drivers plus the correct USB cable.( correct here means the original USB cable that comes with the tablet or a carefully selected USB cable with a slightly longer mini USB connector - see attached MicroUSB-1.jpgpics)

The process is actually straight forward If the drivers are correctly installed on your PC (the best to use is a Win7 PC but you can try to install on Win10 if you know how to install in "Win7 compatibilty mode" and if you have higher security settings on Win10 PC , to disable "signature" check, you dont have to worry about all this if you use Win7 PC)

Install the drivers then test by attaching the device to PC to see if there are any other drivers is missing. Most likely Android ADB drivers is missing from a first tmer PC. Check it. Then the rest is per my previous postings (I dunno whether you read the post on "how to recover from Hard/Soft Bricked M9Pro" )I have attached the official M9Pro Manual please read from page 27 onwards till finish. Just in case you have missing drivers here I have attached them.

I am sorry for my late reply because I have not revisited the M9Pro postings about 2 years already since I moved on to other Brands and Models.Best of luck
