M9Pro can easily use 3G USB dongle (3G GSM) only network
You can easily connect to 3G network by using USB 3G dongle but have to install a bit of modified software.

I will demonstrate how easy it is to connect a M9Pro WIFI only device to a 3G GSM network by just attaching through the USB port of the device.

Connect on the micro USB port that is to the left of the device (not the microUSB port for flashing)

But to make it simpler to connect to 3G network a bit of software drivers need to be activated, it can be done through ADB script that is attached at the bottom of the posting.instructions are included in the zip folder. The attachments for improving the 3G network although it cant be confirmed how it improves the 3G connection or it is already available, install the this all-in-one script :

I am using my 3G dongle just by attaching it to usb host port of my wifi tablet without any kind of an installation. There is no need of any installation. Pipo too says so.

I have a Pipo M9pro 3G tablet with March edition of kit Kat (RRiley). I have not been able to get 3G to work an hope someone can help. Seems i have 2  problems

1 which way is sim card inserted ? When I orientate it to match the diagram beside the sim port , it will not stay in place. The spring does not set and card comes back out. When I orientate it other way it stays in but is not springy.

2 When I enter APN details for my supplier and I press save in menu, it does not seem to save and when I exit an go back in there are no APN details accessible.

i have also updated the file. Only effect that had was that GPS now seems to be working for google maps but not for GPS test or GPS status(0 satellites)

Incidentally Wifi is much better with new Rom. With wifi I found much better results when I use a high channel number, I use Ch 13. Never drops now whereas with old KitKat on channel below 8 it dropped every 5-10 mins

Please !!
