- any update received thru OTA may interfere with our custom firmware, we recommend to refuse any update pushed OTA.

the deep sleep fix is NO MORE necessary, we have found a libril file that is able to enable deep sleep also for 3G models.
take a look here on post #292:

mihail nikeshin, jamicI believe the fix in your link is similar to the one we have included in our ArcTools package.
We prefer to offer the fix as an option (for the M6 pro and other RK3188 tablets) so users can choose if they want to use it or prefer keeping the default file from the manufacturer. There should be no need to use a fix if the tablet doesn't show Deep Sleep problems.Â
Cheers.

Why someone should use the original file?
On 3G models deep sleep NEVER works with original libril file
On wifi only models this file is completely useless, so a change of that file doesn't make any collateral effect.
I think that the original file is a BIG problem and completely useless. But this is my personal opinion...

If I previously installed kasty-pipo-m6_pro-422-ota_107_20131015-rooted4, can I update to this one using CWM, not Rockchip Batch Tool?
SwInDaMix,
I'm afraid not, you'll have to flash with Rockchip Batch Tool.
We're are working on converting future updates in CWM format for easier upgrades.
Cheers.

Thank you for the new firmware it appears to work really well. The one thing I don’t get is the Deep Sleep fix for some Rockchip RK3188 based tablets ArcTools package option in the Arctools app, am I missing something? Thanks for any advice.
As post #1 mentions, this update should work for both WiFI and 3G models.
Cheers.

ROM seems to work quite well and stable. However, it seems the menu entry in the settings to change display mode is no longer available.
I prefer "Normal Mode", as the M6 is somewhat challenged in "HD Mode" (and I cannot really see a big difference).Â
Anyone know how to how to change to "Normal Mode" wo. this option available in the menu?
