Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have a PIPO M6 tablet to test the custom firmware.

Can I ask why not use the Upgrade button?

Have they only changed the Android Partition? No new kernel?

Just asking because I took a look to the restore/upgrade scripts

Thank you

We advise the people to use the Restore option when they come from a 2GB version firmware because corruption data and bootloops can appear otherwise.
You can use the upgrade option on your own risk.
The increased partition size is made by admin, not by Pipo

Is it also possible to overclock to 1.8GHz with this ROM?

Do you have an indication when version 4.3 will arrive?

Arc,

Its been while, I don't know if you remember me or not but I was have over on the Onda 972 thread.  Anyway, I'm looking at picking up this tablet.  I believe it to better fit my needs than the 9pro.  Especially with the bigger battery life that it has.  Anyway, I was hoping that someone could do a side by side comparison of the two before I made my final decision. Anyway, if you see anything like that let me know.  Thanks.

b_force, to my knowledge no vendor currently offer 1.8 GHz on their RK3188 tablets.

Same for Android 4.3, it hasn't yet landed in Rockchip RK3188 devices.

Dvalin21, I can't help much with the comparison, the only Pipo model I own is an old S1.

Cheers.

OK, But can I use another ROM to get to the 1.8GHz, or are there to many differences?

@Dvalin21

My colleague owns the Onda 972 I think (or it was the 973...)

Anyhow, the sound is really bad!

I think all other things are not really different.

The RK3188 is just a little faster than the A31.

On the other hand the A31's GPU is better.

Really depends on your needs.
