I've tried to connect to server by OpenVpn, but it failed.
It seems like tun.ko doesn't works properly.
 ------------
- On some ICS images the permissoions on /dev/tun might be wrong, or the tun module might be missing completely.
- Cannot open TUN
- Exiting due fatal error
 -------------
It seems like tun.ko module is not loaded in kernel.

you can load the module yourself![]()
more details please...
Â
oh, insmod tun.ko
but how i can do this automaticaly?
It does not working:
root@android: / # insmod /system/lib/modules/tun.ko
insmod: init_module '/system/lib/modules/tun.ko' failed (Exec format error)
root@android: / #Â
modules has wrong format!!!!
Thanks for reporting that dem.
I expected the modules to load properly on a stock Pipo kernel. Can you do a dmesg to see if it gives more details about the format error and post the results here ? I'll see if I can fix it...
Cheers.

Problem in version number of kernel.
<3>[48703.918580] tun: version magic '3.0.8+ preemp mod_unload ARMv7 ' should be '3.0.36+ SMP preemp mod_unload ARMv7 '
It's hapend for all modules. By the way, if it possible, please add module usbnet.ko and axis.ko!!!
Thanks!
I have rebuilt a custom firmware with modules that should work with Linux 3.0.36+ kernel, these modules were built by Oma & Crew RKTablets as well.
New firmware download: kasty-pipo-m6_3G-422-20130814-rooted4b.zip
Flash with Rockchip Batch Tool version 1.7, use Restore button.
I can't test these firmware modifications at the moment as I don't have a RK3188 based tablet, please report how it goes, so I can update the firmware file in post #1 and add the modules on custom firmwares for other tablets as well.
usbnet.ko and axis.ko modules aren't in the package yet, I'll see what can be done.
Cheers.

Thank you!  Now modules are loaded correctly by hand. Module axis.ko as I understood is a part of android kernel and my dlink usb->ethernet is working correctly.Â
But, I was not able to load modules tun and etc automaticaly!!
I used:
su
touch /system/etc/init.d/01mod
chmod 755 Â /system/etc/init.d/01mod
But after reboot I did not find tun-module loaded.
Also, there is not file initd.log in /data directory.
What can be a problem?

Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference in wifi performance with the 3G and non-3G models? Â
I think there is no different. Different is in power consumption 3G models.
In my 3G M6 there is some process (Radio Interface Layer for 3G), which does not allow CPU to go into a Deep Sleep state.Â
