Is anyone having the same problems with HDMI as me?
The output is squashed and distorted.
I can select 4:3 on the TV to get the right aspect ratio but then I have black bars on all sides with 16:9 content.
If I select 1080p 50Hz as a resolution I can select "wide zoom" on the TV to get rid of black bars and keep the right aspect. Then the picture isn't very sharp. It's going through 4 resolution re-scalings.
I've tried changing the resolution of the tablet to 1920 x 1080. The tablet shows the correct black bars but they are repeated on the TV and the output is still squashed.
Is there a way to get the right overscan on the HDMI output so the 1080p picture is the correct aspect to begin with and cuts off the top & bottom of the screen unless I use zoom to zoom out.
