Sorry for the late reply.
This ROM flashed without problems and seems to be stable so thanks.
I would like to request that any future ROM kernel be compiled with /proc/mic_level so recording level can be adjusted. At the moment it suffers from very bad clipping and distortion making recording simple videos with sound impossible. I cant see any way of using an external mic to correct this problem.
Many thanks.
RAR file ? The file we offer for download is a zip archive !

You can try to download it again, use another mirror from the server list on the download page.
If it still doesn't work, please post the filename you are downloading and the size of the downloaded file on your computer.
Cheers.

Hi, I just downloaded "kasty-pipo-m7_pro-442-20140306-rooted7.zip". I never did the root of the Android device, so I put the unzipped file "update.img" to the MicroSD card. When I return the card back, it asked me, if I want to make an update. I chose "Yes". It started to update the device, however then the screen turned off itself, and now I'm not able to do anything with my tablet - I'm not able to turn it on. (I tried also to charge the device, however nothing happend.) Could you please a bit help me? [Yes, yes, I'm stupid, I was used to simply jailbreak my iPhone and I didn't expect this problem with Android ]

We have NOT sanction the update of Kasty ROM through SDCard. Where did you read the instructions to update the original RK firmware through SDCard method??. We use the BatchTool (ony version BatchTool 1.7 can work on JB and KitKat version). Admin has put up a clear instructions up there and never once did he says to update through SDCard. CONGRATS You are now "softbricked". Please read in previous posting around Jan/Feb this year for how to flash in a "softbrick" situation. May be if you are lucky you can just flash it straight away using RKBatchTool (if you are lucky).
If not you will need an extra finger to press 3 buttons on the PiPo to get it to flash.Next time dont DO THIS, READ INSTRUCTIONS in PLAIN ENGLISH CAREFULLY!
You have too much customs ROM experience that can only be flashed through CWM/TWRP Recoveries??But this is the original factory "Xyz123.img" format. Even the factory instructed to use RKBatchTool. But when using RKBatchTool use "DOWNLOAD" buttons instead of "UPGRADE" button (dont tell us that you didnt get this instructions later on)

Thanks, both of you. However still it didn't help.
Cracktech: Sorry, I've no idea what topic do you think: I tried to find it, but I didn't found this in M7 forum. I tried to connect Pipo via USB with my laptop. I hear a sound (from laptop - just like when you connect a new device), in Device Manager is displayed "Unknown device" now. But when I turn on Rockchip Batch Tool, I don't see any connected device. (I tried to press with various combination the Power & Esc & Reset button, nothing happend.) Yes, I know I'm the new one here - sorry, I really had no idea, that admin has put up a clear instructions up there: but I just don't see them in M7 forum.
