need some of your wisdom here...
i got my Ceros revolution last friday... i use stock rom 4.4.2_20140428
from the first time i turned it on, i noticed severe lag on key presses.
For example if i was to strike keypad keys in order to write the alphabet in a text window by pressing only once each letter, istead of this: abcdefghijk... i get abefgkno... that means that at some points, the screen does not 'sence' my finger pressing on it..
My fingers are clean i have to say and there is nothing on my screen like a protector or something...
My initial thought was to send it back where i bought it, but it is going to take for ages to resolve...
Should i try this rom? Would there be any benefit/fix for me? Would it be possible then to 'recalibrate' the screen and have proper response or at least a more decent one???
The lag of the screen is evident all the time (not only when writing text, but also on apps icon pressing).
Last but not least, the problem gets a lot smaller when tablet is connected to power supply... weird huh??
Help dears !!!
Many many thanks in advance.
John from sunny Greece!
Hi to all this is my first time of posting, I have read the post downloaded all the relevant software, rooted my tablet, the only question I am left with is this the correct bin.
I have a ceros revolution but it is Rockchip RK3066 1.61 GHZ, RK30BOARD, RK30SDK
Am I good with this bin or do I need something else.
Many thanks in advance for any help.

Please help. I have downloaded both the image and tool from OP
The drivers failed to install using the drivers bundled with the toolkit so i used "Release Driver Assistant" tool which installed fine.
My problem is i never get the green box to light on my Rock Chip Batch tool.
I have done every type of hold 2x buttons and all i get is the regular recovery mode screen. The PC recogises the device but not green box.
Then the flash driver haven't installed properly. Whcih windows?

I have the first generation Ceros tablet which is running Android version 4.2.2 and it is incredibly (painfully) slow and it keep crashing every few minutes.
As a result, instead of tossing it in the bin, I am trying to see if upgrading would help. I got the 4.4.2 image from the links above and I am following these instructions here: https://download.chinavasion.com/download/Others/ceros_rev_firmware_install_9470.pdf but I am stuck on step 3 because the Rockchip batch tool 1.7 will not recognise my device.
When I connect the device, it says "Unknown USB device"and the tool doesn't turn green. Also I am unable to install the drivers.
I am on Windows 8.1 (64bit) and I read in another thread that Rockchip drivers are not compatible with Win 8.1
Does that mean I am stuck and cannot continue or is there a workaround?
Any help how to go past step 3?
