Please report any problem with this firmware, I can't verify this custom firmware works as I don't have a Ployer MOMO7 tablet to test the custom firmware.

Our firmware is purely based on Ployer, we've just added root and the features you can see in post #1.
As for the CPU speed, the possibilities are determined by the kernel, if overclocking apps don't let you go faster, you have reached the limit set by the kernel, not much we can do for now.

Thanks a lot!!
It is working a much better from previous.
And about cpu it's true - in your previous kernel frequency was 1472 (I think), now it's only 1272.
But in original firmware (prev.also) it was 1200 exactly.
Is it hard to do something with kernel to unlock it? our processor supports 1600MHz, I don't now why ployer don't provide it...
Very few manufacturers have published the Linux Kernel source code for their device, there is none for the MOMO7 as far as I know.Â
Here are the kernel sources I know of:
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/firmware-development/rk3066-kernel-source-code/
Using those would probably require quite some work to adapt on the MOMO7.
Cheers.

Hi All,
Thanks for firmware release.
I experience something weird with my momo7 tablet, but I don't know if it's due to the tablet (hardware problem) or to the firmware.
I try to connect some devices to usb port (with a good USB OTG cable) and it works fine. I test with an usb keyboard, mouse, flash storage, ...
...But...
When I connect an usb hub (powered), none of my devices are detected...
When I check with "USB Host controller" application, I see that there's a message:
 USB Host controller version 0.44
S3C USB Host driver NOT found.
Do you know something to do with this message ?
Any update or idea somewhere ?
When I try to connect to another tablet (Ainol Novo 7 fire), everything works fine and all my devices are well connected.
I've try to tweaks few things like explained in
1 - add a file named android.hardware.usb.host.xml on /system/etc/permissions
2 - containing the following lines:
<permissions>
<feature name="android.hardware.usb.host">
</feature></permissions>
3 - open in /system/etc/permissions file named handheld_core_hardware.xml or tablet_core_hardware.xml and add <feature name="android.hardware.usb.host"> into <permissions> section
4 - Reboot your device. Usb host api should work
But this don't work either !
Regards
pierre
Pierre,
Some tablets have kernel settings that prevent USB hubs to work. I don't know if there is an easy fix for that rather that modifying and recompiling the kernel (provided we have the source code).

Hi guys..I recently bought this for a birthday present..the menu etc was all in Chinese , i managed to change the language etc to English. However a lot of apps etc were still in Chinese.
Now i used the tool and instructions from the ployer website to flash using the .img file above.
It looked like it went fine and even stated it updated, but when the tablet booted up all it did was show two ployer logos on a black screen.
I have trolled the internet for clues but i am at a loss..any help would be greatly appreciated.
martin1377, can you confirm you used Rockchip Batch Tool to flash your firmware ? Have you used the Restore button rather than Upgrade ?
Can you try to flash again ?
Cheers.

Official firmware is updated,MOMO7-4.1.1-RK901-121213.rar.
(previous version (2012/12/03) was removed from the link.)
I tried to apply latest original firmware, now CPU Clock is backed to 1416MHz,
previously it was 1272MHz. Very fine!
So I'll try to check charging problem later.
