Hi oma , thanks for your help, unfortunately each time I try to upload the odys xelio firmware it gives me the red box with load firmware failed, this happens with each folder as follows
Did you flash a Kitkat build with gen2 loader?

timibizaar saidNo, originally I flashed an update from nextbook
That is your problem. You now have a gen2 bootloader on the tab which will not work for the (gen1 loader) builds.
Here is a tool to recovery (just follow the steps in the included picture): http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=1631

Then run RKAndroidTool:
- untick loader

Yes, next step is in RKAndroidTool. Or when you use RKBatchTool just press Restore.

I finally got the 4.2.2 to flash haven't got to test it all out but everything works nice. I hope I'm not going to shut down at 30% power now. My screen flicker seems to be gone:-) I still have to hold the power button down for a long time. Maybe I'll try to the KitKat out see if that helps with the holding of power button down to turn on.
