what did you used to test the root ?
did you used the upgrade or the restore option ?

2012/12/29

i used the upgrade button. and it did upgrade it, the reson why i cant get it started is because i tried another file that was 500mb named update.img and dident succeed.
so i think the tablet cant exit the mode its in. not even with reset button. maby i let the battery drain. and see if its starting later

where do i even get the Denver tools and drivers? searched google and find noting ;/
Seriously??? You couldnt see this just 6 above your own POST???
I dont get why people who cant be bothered to read 3 pages or heck just even half a page of maybe usefull post even want to upgrade their tablet??
Would you bother to read the manufacturer's pdf file on how to upgrade the firmware.
Would you bother to check if you have everything before starting to do something?
DID you wait untill it was done with the restore process before turning it of?
And as you wrote in your 2. last post.
Have a good day to you, for me and more This Firmware IS worth it
Or wait you didnt read that the firmware was only here and you had to find the tools yourself from denvers own page? Which is linked to?
I seriously dont mind helping people IF they have done an effort first (Unless its making a root image since that was way over my head)
But Asking for drivers that are linked to 6 post above your first post to me means that you dont read before you write, or maybe think things through before you act.
BE PATIENT when you deal with electronics and especially firmware or just dont mess with em

So you use the upgrade button even though it says in THIS THREAD that you should use the restore button?
You found a file.....well maybe usefull if we should help you to write WHERE you found that file.
And off course the tablet can exit the mode its in. How do you know it doesnt work with reset button.
PLS do yourself a favor.
Read the total of 34 post in this forum.
Read them end over end. Dont be bored. And then go fetch the stuff linked to in post nr. 34.
unpack em.
Download the upgrade image file that the amazing admin posted. Not the first but the 2nd since denver released a new firmware.
And then start over.
Some suggest to also upgrade the denver firmware before flashing this modded firmware over.
Again reboot after each try.
Have fun and patience

deli99I had problem using RK batch tool so I found a older program, RKDeviceManage 1.3 and thaught I will give it a chance where all else failed. Very slow program and I fell asleep during its restore from the rooted image from this post and when I wake up now in the moring the restore was complete and I got root access now!

got it working.
Now seeing that you got it working its good for you -Â
BUT would you mind telling us what you did to get it working?
See this is also how a forum works if its working right.
You ask a question - we try to help you - you get it working - you tell us what you did to make it work
so others can ready your reply and learn and get it right the first time
This firmware is identical to Denver's stock firmware with root added.
Cheers.

I built the custom firmware to help b.breum forum member, but I don't own any Denver tablets and I don't know much about them.
