Should I send it back to china?
Question on whether or not sending a "faulty" Onda V972 back is worth it or not.

Hey guys, appreciate the cool stuff you do here. I have a V972 V1 which really from day 1 has been what I would consider as faulty. Here is what I think doesn't work right ...

1. Rear & Front Cameras in ambient lighting are simply not usable. Unless you have alot of light (meaning outside mid-day with sun) the quality of any photos or videos is really poor. The claim that the rear camera is the same as the early iPads, I seriously find hard to understand. My brother in laws iPad takes great images with the same lighting. So something is either wrong as a standard, or faulty on my tablet.

2. Sound. Sometimes the sound just stops coming out of the speakers. Even when it comes out its too low to be of use for skype calls.

3. Microphone. The sound level is too low again for skype.

It might be that these issues are simply what you get with Onda V972 ... but when I got it late spring last year, I understood from the reviews I had then seen that it was better than it is. I chatted to the dhgate distributor that sent it to me, and they said I can post it back to them, and they will send it back to the factory for repairs under the 1 yr warranty, but am wondering if its actually worth it to try or not.

Have any of you done that? Are the issues I mention just how the tablet really is? Maybe its not faulty at all, and its just like that.

Appreciate some guidance.

We all have the same problems, maybe with small differences.  This sheety tablet is all you've got for that money.

Cameras are just for kicks there. Speakers also. Why stereo speakers, when put together. Mic is also bad.

Even retina LCD is of no use when you have enough light for taking photos. So if you want to take photos, you need light. When you have light, you can't see on display.

Wifi also sucks. When connected and charging, and browsing internet, touch screen goes crazy. WTF? Sometimes I have to try 5 times to reach a link with this retarded touchscreen. I believe whole architecture of tablet is faulty.

If you send tablet to China, you will loose 2 months. That is all. And dollars for shipping...

All I wanted most of the tablet was the LCD, to read ebooks and to use it at school... well after 10 months battery lasts just 10-20 minutes. Fu*k it!

Useless tablet!
I found almost all users have the same troubles, some of them more some less.

I'm never ever buying Chinese sheet ever again. Though you choose and check brands, you get nailed over and over again.

Sorry for rough answer, but all is simply all true.

I believe, that developers here are making good job, but even they cant change lame construction of  hardware with moded software.
