I've had my V972 (V1 hardware) tablet for about a year or so. Anyway, to make a long story short, my tablet has been acting funny of late. First, after upgrading to the latest rom version and getting some relative good battery charge time, I started to get soon afterwards some lousy, short battery lasting times.

And on top of that, my tablet seem to have gotten the habit of getting very hot during charging or just regular use. And then the really bad stuff started happening: The tablet's screen started to "flicker", at first just a little, but then after a few times of use it started to really flicker very hard.

It eventually came to the point that after the tablet got turned on, the screen just completely died out. And that's when I noticed what was really happening: My tablet was starting to get "fatter"! That's right, my tablet was getting thicker and it's screen was starting to show some deep cracks.

Well, after a few days of not using my tablet at all and letting it just sit inside a table's drawer, I decided to take it out one day, and then.....WHAM!....I was shocked at what I was seeing. My tablet was being split in two by it's seams from the inside out! All because of the battery.

For some reason, the battery was getting inflated more and more each day to the point of breaking apart the tablet! Anyway, for those of you here that believe in seeing is believing, I took some pictures of my tablet at of what it looks right now, and it's not pretty:

Oh yea, if my photos were not enough, I found this video on YouTube from somebody who had the same battery problem as me, but this time it happened to a V712 tablet:
