you've tried to do a fresh install? in this way it should reset
I have tried almost every firmware, I format it everytime using phoenixsuit, no result, Kernal is not changing, it stay the same. I have no idea how I can chance the Kernel.
but for this tablet as there are no custom rom for the 972 v? it would be great to see a cm or AOKP
I have no Idea what are these cm and AOKP, I flash the device using custom rom from this site here.
HI , I Need some help. The Kernel in this rom made my tablet not usable, the previews version of this rom was perfect! http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/onda-v972/onda-v972-v1-hardware-android-4-2-2-jelly-bean-root-custom-firmware-v3-2-final-2013-07-04/
Please can you help me to downgrade the Kernel ? I need some serious help because I tried everything!
What is your tablet model? V972 or V973 ?
This thread is for V973 V1
Oh sorry is the v972 v1!
so make sure you downloaded & flashed the Correct firmware.
I hope you do
The problem is that I flashed several times the correct, the mistake that I'm, writing here it's because I tried and non the right firmware just in case that something could change, but nothing! Something with the kernel, I need to know how to chance the kernel. Even if I flashed a previews version of a rom the Kernel didn't change!
I'm deeply testing the 3.2 version; at the moment i've noticed a slight browser performance boost and the keyboard is a lil more reactive while tiping. Hoped in something more sincerely.
The boot logo (the nice asiatic girl) is fine...but i preferred the ArcTablet logo instead... much more polite since i use the tablet also at work
Its possible to put again the old boot logo and boot-animation from the previous v3.0?
Thanks for the effort!
I've found that users were able to bring AOKP and cm10.1 on our beloved v973.
for those who want to try and make a comparison with the stock here is the link:
Custom firmware update v3.2.1 just published:
