Well, I downloaded and installed the new "V972Core4_v3.2.1_v1" rom. It behaves pretty much the same in performance compared to the previous rom. One of the new things I noticed is that there are some new options in the settings that I did not see in the previous version. Also, there's this photo of a cute Chinese woman in a white dress that's part of the boot up screen. But the one major thing I can attest to, is that this time around the battery holds it's charge a lot longer! that's right, the battery last longer! None of that rapid countdown drop on battery juice, now it lasts as long as it used to when the Onda 972 tablet first came out on the market.  With that said, I am still having some WiFi dropout issues, but I can still get around that by using the "Best WiFi Keeper PRO" app to help me alleviate that problem.

Can you tell how long the battery lasts now ?

Well, I have not really measured properly the time from a fully charged battery, but I can tell you that after upgrading to the new rom I had about a 72% battery charge level when I started to surf the web for about 1 hour and afterwards play a couple of 3D graphical intensive games for another 1 1/2 hours  before the battery charge dropped to about 35%.

This means 2.5 hours for 37% which seems too much as this means more than 6 hours . I am using now CM10.1 and am doing almost 4 hours of Internet browsing (Firefox) and this is based on 3.2 firmware.

Can you do us a favor and try a real test from 100 to 50% ?

It is great that onda is now focused improving the battery life.

I will wait patiently for Admin to release Kasty 3.2.1

I've tested the airplane feature while on Wi-Fi with this release of the rom (v3.2); sincerily looks like the battery performs the same as usual.

What about Miracast feature? its necessary a software ?

Official 3.2 - Unfortunately UIDs have become inconsistent

My wife's 972 is giving her this message whenever she powers it on. Never got this on previous versions. Moving her to 3.2.1 now.

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and I note it's a while since anything was posted here.  I have a V972 V1 which I flashed with this update however my camera has failed.  I note that others have this experience and was wondering if anyone managed to find a fix.
