I like the new 4K player but if it just high lighted new unplayed files that would make it 100% in my view, if you can do that and I missed it please tell me how? I ask for this because some videos I download are just named with a sting of seemingly random numbers and so get lost in the host of older files I keep in my download directory. Do ODNA read this forum or should I send my suggestion to them?

Hi admin,Great work once again. Do you have a 'how-to' guide anywhere for editing and re-packaging these .img files i.e. what software do you use?
Â
Thanks
Anyone else know what software is used to extract and rebuild these img files?
This is for A1x not sure if it will work with A31 img. Try and let us know

Hey guys!
I must also say that this is so far the best ROM ever. More or less everything is working very smooth. But I must say that battery drainage is awful, I guess, it will last about 3h. Will see, the first time i loaded ROM it was almost counting down the percentage like a stopwatch
I also noticed that it drains really fast in standby, before I could have it in standby for a almost a week. Now it drains in one day?! Will see today again, I will post later how it went.
Another thing - Why doesn't the Google Maps work? Well, they work but you have to sideload them. They are not to be found on Google Store. Mystery. In one of the previous ROMs it worked fine.
Any idea why Iron Man 3 is working so slow?

Thank you Admin. Flashing the ROM gets easier to use every time. This is the second time Phoenix Suite update without reboot. Connect via USB, set Developer options to USB debugging, storage settings to USB large storage, open Phoenix Suite, see tablet on home screen and load img from firmware tab. So far no issues

All is great but the only thing I have encountered is (again) the drain of battery! didn't Onda learn! this is one of the moans people have with Onda v972 / 3.
I actually thought they would addressed this problem with the power management element, I am no technician when it comes to tablets but surely these so called Onda engineers could get there finger our of there ears & deal with the battery problem "enable the power management on the A31 chip" simple.. ergh

For all those complaining about the battery. I don't think it will be fixed since it is not a software issue, Onda put the same battery it put in non Retina (Full HD) tablets in this Retina tablet. Retina displays use a lot of power to work so the only solution is to change the battery not the firmware

True what your saying, but let me tell you a short story, I have a oldish a Star A500 dual phone from China, it had  Android 2.2 Froyo & the battery was ridiculous, got it changed something, couldn't up date it, but found out how to, once I installed Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread the battery last at least 2 days & that's with gps, wireless & Bluetooth on, with these off almost a week, opposed to the ridiculous 1 day, now was this the firmware or hardware ? in this case firmware.  Just before I sign off, the Onda v972 which I got back just over a week ago had 4.1.1 & the battery was good, a massive improvement, but since I put this 4.2.2 (3.2) the battery just counts down like a stop watch, you figure.
