whoa-whoa-whoa,
so i see they took v1.36 and renamed it into v2.0?
logically it means that there are so many changes compared to previous 1.35 that developers decided to name it v2.0?
so what exactly is changed (except of desktop image as i see it here on previews)? i asked the same question in the v1.35 topic, as i didn't notice any perceptible upgrades compared to v1.33, however both ROMs are pretty stable.
upd: or this is just an update supporting following generations of Onda tablets and hardware?
Another question is that I have a CWM-backuped data from my tablet with all my apps and pussycat on background (lol) - if i install this v2.0 kasty ROM, will i be able to restore this data from the previous (1.35) ROM?
upd2: question solved, i flashed my tablet to v2.0, then backed up my data and the ROM returned to v1.35
Thank you, folks, for everything you do
Cheers from Ukraine

Firmware seems more responsive than v1.35,running at 1152,no crashes or hang ups. Benchmarks not changed, but overall fluid.
saw this post and decided to try with my one, and this is true, on v1.33-1.35 my tablet got unstable on higher frequency, but now i overclocked it to 1152 MHz and that is unbelievable - passed the stability test and benchmarks!!
Antutu increased the score for 700-750 pts , now it is 11572! not that significant but still
CPU-5149
 GPU 4077
RAM 1633
I\O - 713

Hi,Onda has been releasing firmware for v1 and v2 tablets - look for the values V1 or V2 in the tablet's serial number.
Is this rom suitable either serials?
Â
Thank you.
Â
This is for v1 tablets,v2 tablets only get upgraded 1.35 firmware,i downloaded the wrong one first.looked the same as 1.35 original firmware so i then downloaded v1_2.0 and saw the difference.it may work on v2 tablets but i don't have one so can't say.

Hi,
Thank you very much for the clarification.
btw, I just went over to onda's official site, they have since released the the V972 stock rom for both v1 and v2 serials. Perhaps the site is too busy, downloading midway will get a 'cannot read source file error'.

I ran mine at 1200 and is ran for about 4 hours then locked up when I went to uninstall an app. Not sure if it was the app or the clock speed. So I have bumped it down to 1152 and have not had any lockups since.Â
It would lock up pretty much instantly above 1118 on  1.35. there is definitely much greater stability with 2.0
I am on stock right now. Bu may install kasty if I decide to redo it.Â

Kasty will save a'lot of messing about, with Chinese apps removed,Google Play more accessible and arctools, easier to install cwm.
I loaded Kasty today (The new one based on 2.0) and tried to load Marble Blast. Installs but does not run. Marble Blast 3 loads and gives a blank screen except for the ad at the bottom of the screen. You can hear the music playing. Blogger from Google installs and under 1.35 was told not compatible.Â
I tried playing with the build.prop file. Said it was a Nexus 10 from google but apps that would not load or list are still the same. Changed back to the original prop file.

Hi everybody, I do need some help. A few days ago, the tablet badly cusched. After restarting it, I noticed some application were missing, so I restarted again and got the green Emergency screen...
I wiped the tablet with PhoenixSuit and reinstalled the rom and everything went fine, but now every time I restart the tablet it looks like \cache and \data are wiped. That is, if I change settings or install any application and restart the tablet, these are all missing as if the tablet has just been flashed new. This happens with every rom I tried to flash. I confirm that I have no problem in accessing the recover (both stock and CWM).
As you can guess the tablet in these conditions is useless, any suggestion will be very appreciated!

Sorry to hear your problem.
When flashing new firmware do you format and install or update ?
