Just read in HTCmania that Steve_mars is going to release this weekend supernova 2.1 with a fix with that issue, if it doesn't work he'll create a Supernova 1.1 based in 1.32 and with all the tweaks of 2.0

Well, I had both. The stop at the Onda-Logo and the green writings. But it seems, I'm a bit more patient than the rest 
I such cases I plug-in the powercord and let the tablet rest. It took about 10 to 15 Minutes (I have the 32GB version plus 32GB SD-Card) and then I hear the little *click* sound and the tablet starts.
I self-wipe occured just once with a stock v1.32. Right now, I'm on a stock V1.33, rooted, CWM installed and flashed with Supernova 2 after that.
The green writing appeared just once in this configuration.

Hi,
is there anyway to install phoenixsuite on my Win7 – 64 bit PC ?
Tried hundred and one times, just wont have it, my v972 is just a piece of plastic without it.

@merc69, at what point do you fail? I've Phoenixsuite installed on two Win7 64Bit PCs with no hassle at all and flashed my V972 from both of them.

Hi, i try to instal normally, and as administrator… i get s far as--instal pjhoenix, click y then the instal screen pops up, the screen shows — instal or cancel ( in chinese ) but the instal is greyed out? just the cancel is operational :0(
im using vs 1.06 phoenix instaler

Unplug your V972. Make sure, it is powered down.
After you selected the file you want to flash in Phoenixsuite, press the Home-Button on the tablet, keep it pressed, plug-in the USB-cable (keep the homebutton pressed!) and addionaly press the Power-Button 10 times… than phoenixsuite will ask you to wipe the Data (y) or just flash (n) and it starts.
It will take some time, be patient.

I've also had many lockups and the green chinese letters with the custom firmware 1.33. This firmware isn't recommended. I have the v972 16gb.

Sibi i had trouble until i installed Nova Launcher. Yes i get the Green writing but i just wait and it boots up fine.

Also the 1.33 seems to be much slower than the 1.32.

Maybe I will try to install the 1.32 again. But honestly I'm thinking of sending it back to onda. I make a clean install of the 1.33, download al lthe apps and install cwm recovery. When I try to reboot it locks ups. I can't even make a backup. The tablet works only ok until I try to reboot. I might just use it as a cutting board or a frisbee

1.32 is way better than 1.33 which is total crap, much faster and less lockups. In my opinion don't install the 1.33 it's a waste of time. The onda v972 has good hardware but it lacks firmware support, it's a pity. Let's hope that the upcoming 1.35 will solve more problems.
